did you notice if the plastic of the skate softened up at all and became a little more flexible? it feels like a different plastic then the old twisters, and the plastic on the old ones broke in really nice.

depends on the situation but for general commuting and chill skating on 80mm I prefer the Metroblade. The Twisters are good for riding the bigger 3 wheel setups and doing harder stuff

Since the intuition liner v2 is really thin, would it make the boots too big/wide if the stock liner fits just right?

Im trying to decide between metroblade and twister edge. Ive been riding long time in my old roces skates on aggresive wheels. Now its time to upgrade, after maybe 15 or 16 years. :) Will have to try them both I guess. Nice video.

Hey Joe, I am more the same like you. I had a Lowrider Roces at past and now I would like to upgrade as well and I am between Metroblade and Twister Edge but Metroblade I would need to get 2 size up, mostly of the places they dont have mine. Which one did you buy ? Would you recommend it?

Does the intuition liner work in the rollerbladeblade women's twister edge? I am currently having a lot of pressure points the more I skate in my twister edge and I'm just wondering whether the intuition liner can solve my pressure points issues?

Mephistopheles definitely a half size unless you have narrow feet or a slim liner like intuitions

They are all interchangable. Just make sure the mounting points are the same

Great vid! question: I would like to upgrade to the Edge.I'm skating on the RB80's right now. I have wide feet and my concern is with the toe-box. Are the Edge wide in the toe-box? I'm a 8.5 US and the Rollerblade RB 80's are a size 9 and very comfortable. Thanks in advance! Best, Greg

For speedskating you should take some Powerslide skates instead of a Rollerblade. The Powerslides are way far better for fitness skating and speedskating

I thought about that too, I want a bit more diverse than just speed so I got the Twister Edge. (Inline Warehouse effed up my Metroblade order) I’d like to ride bowls and zip around the city as well as do some fast trail riding

Cool clip! So you've tried twister, metroblade. Which ones are more comfortsble for cityskating? I feel metroblades much less supportive, retghting straps on them every 15 minutes.

. Depends on what you mean by "comfort". If you want something more supportive than the Metroblade you should definitely try a hardshell skate like the Twister.

Eddie Chung i'd say thar metroblades are more the fitness story, not urban. Bug twister or fudion with hard shell are 100% urban skating.

While these skates do well in any scenario, in my opinion they are optimized for more advanced skating. A much better skate for casual use or beginners would be the Metroblade

Just on this - i used to blade years ago and gonna get back into it - I was looking at the twisters to get back into - but why do u suggest the metroblades?

Christopher Castor lol you can get them with the 110 wheels. And everyone knows intuitions are the best ;). They’re not necessarily essential, but if you’re going to be spending a lot of time in them, it can be worth the investment

Ive skated my whole life inline/ice hockey...skated aggressive a little bit too...i am 31 now and want some good skates i can do anything with(hockey, street,indoor,skatepark....etc.) SO should i spend the extra 150 and get these for around $280 USD, OR do u guys think i should just get the powerslide zoom models?(for around $180 USD.....?!?!

The zoom are like, more accessible and mid quality skates. They are good for beginners in freeskating. Instead of the edges wich are more focused for skaters that already knows basics. If you want an advice, you should go for the edges, cause when you will progress, you'll not have to be bothered on upgrading your setup if you would have bought the zooms.
