Hi Brandon, I love your videos! Is that killer, spinning vert kid Malachi the same dude that you gave a pair of skates to in a previous video? I seem to remember something about skates that didn’t fit you but you gave them to some killer young vert skater with that name! I don't quite understand Razors' move to delete the edits. Those pros might not ride for them anymore, but it still promotes the product, no?

If Rollerblade made an affordable regular, basic 1995-96 Lighting, (even the same cuff and frame) with UFS/soul plate option. I’d buy it.

@@uu3903 No I’d want the same cuff (not TRS) the same exact ‘94-‘95 frame... Just with soul plates. So technically m12-like soul plates

In regards to razors deleting their old riders videos, unless there was a request by the photographer or the rider who may actually be the owner of the footage. It makes a person look bad to get rid of history of people who associated with them at one point. I liken it to when people do something like block someone out of a photo or edit them out completely. It doesn't make them look good, it looks super petty on their part.

Mally is a beast. RB also dropped the Spanish team. Razor dropping edits is probably them being elitist. Excited for the TNEC, as it's another shell to fit feet. Excited for more THEM stuff. Adapt changing tunes again. The adjustable cruiser is smart for PS to try out. Sola did flat 80 and 90 before lino if I recall. More liners for us to try (Reign) is good.

Hey Brandon, Watched this while putting my speed skates back together after a full cleaning, So yes you have viewers that skate multiple disciplines. I also ride road bike and mountain bikes, The Adapt skates seem a bit like most high end cars, Ferrari And Lamborghini to me, nice to look at, super niche, get a lot of looks and give that "Baller" vibe, may perform well but probably wont be worth the cost. Personally i skate tried and true brands that out perform most others that are over double the cost.

@19:29: The pronunciation is "purr deems". "Per deim" is Latin, and means "per day" or "by the day"/"for the day" (as stated in the channel description, "...going out skating for the day...").

They should do a reissue of the trs tho for sure, the roces 1992 is pretty much that though and they really hit out of the park with those so, maybe RB feels it’s too saturated right now for another pair of vintage early 90s style blades 🤷‍♂️

FYI the preorder with the frames did not get them any earlier. It was to help fund the shipment and you got a deal with the skate/frame combo. You still get the preorder skate when they release.

You need to be an ambassador for the brand. Promote, represent, be present in the community and help the company develop.

Bad move when you are trying to sell equipment that will get people injured: Fire the injured guy. The message should be instead, "Life goes on after an injury, don't be scared and go skating."

that "new" reign liner looks EXACTLY like the one which is already shipped with the Razors Shima 3.1

The WZRD looks fantastic besides the price. I would be scared to fall on those and repairing them costs 300+ Euro.

PS, those are not the new reign liners in that oak city post - look at the interior colour and the fact that it's a v-cut.

I think the new lightnings are meant to be a modernized spiritual successor with 165 frames. A skate that should skate relatively like the trs lightning but isn’t riveted and retro. I agree they probably would do better sales with a retro look but I’m sure they’ll be solid skates and they don’t look bad atleast…

The funny thing is that it’s a familiar story about some one that was big pro

I used to be a pretty intense road cyclist and time trialist and I fix bicycles for a living. I have a few different blade homies that ride so we are out here.

And frame is not the only one of its kind, adapt has had a flat 4x90 they make thays super high quality for a great price…

Rollerblade could run their social media like a real sports company… send out a videographer or a budget for a weekend of skating = a weekly clip for 6 months.

The Them souls are one solid piece, frame and soul plate are one. Look at the lack of ufs bolt in the front of the soul plate at 10:56

Yes but I'm 90% sure its just their big wheel soulframes as the soulplate is too slim. The Them 80s have no UFS bolts www.thisissoul.com/products/909-80s-soulframe-black I hope they are making a soulframe but I don't think they are.

Nice to see Adapt displaying their road cycling shoe with a red shimano cleat, aka the cause of your knee injury. ahh they probably just stuck it on there to colour match the insole...

Pretty sure RB doesn’t own the old TRS mold. From my understanding that is the M12 mold so RB literally can’t do the old TRS Lightnings.

I don't think there is any easy way to know but I believe they are easily in the top 3. Very popular with the more casual skater who isn't watching new videos on KZread.

I thought that may be the case too but Jon has re-uploaded a few of the videos taken down that he has with no issue. 99% of the time on YT now the music owner just earns money off your video rather than blocking it.

Skeane is a dope dude he definitely didn't deserve to be dropped off the team for such a BS excuse sorry but not posting on social media shouldn't be a requirement for being on a team. Hopefully this opens new opportunities for him.

It's a business, Rollerblade can't carry a skater with an injury when there is barely any money in the sport. It's a pro skaters job to bring exposure to the company and help promote and sell products.

Let's imagine this: you're the brand manager for Blank. Rollerblade tells you you have less budget to work with for the next year. The only way you can keep the brand going, is to drop some pros. Then you drop the person who has been doing the least to promote the brand in the last year. Sucks for all involved and most for Keane of course, but that's how business works. The question is not if the Blank brand manager made the wrong call, the question is if Rollerblade should have cut the funding.

I've been buying razors for years and even live in the same area. and I been hating in the razors comment section for like 2 years. It was good to see what they were up to, but the quality of the edits were SO bad. they were being handed decent footage, and just putting free music over it. USD does this too. The latest jon fromm edit was not good, even though the skating was dope. Him and his editor were fighting with people in the comments on the last edit they put up before they got dropped lmao
