Roller Skate Tricks On Ramps You Can Do without Grind Trucks and Slide Blocks

In this episode of the Estro Den, I show roller skaters "Roller Skate Tricks You Can Do without Grind Trucks and Slide Blocks." The roller skates I am wearing are stock Moxi Roller Skates Clementine Lolly's as they come with Moxi leopard print laces and Estro Jen Bowl Bomber's wheels.
Here is a list of time stamps of all the tricks. There is a key below to help break them down.

Stock Moxi Roller Skate classic gummy wheels are too soft for the skateparks. Switch to a hard wheel like the Fundae or Estro Jen wheels before heading to the skate park on quads. Wider trucks do make locking onto the coping easier for 50-50 grinds. The ones I am using are discontinued, Sure Grip trucks. This company released a new model called the Park Series but those are not the ones I have been wearing. Other wide roller skate truck brands that may be compatible with your roller skate plates are;
Xoxo by SkateRatz
Disco Blox
Penny Trucks
CIB will release a grind truck from Riedell within the next year and I am really looking forward to skating those and for them to be available for you since they are designed intended for use with Moxi Skates.

    Hey there! I skated in my lollies on the stock plate at the park, not going easy, for about 2.5 years before the pivot cup broke and I replaced them...with another set of nylon plates. I think the stock plate on the Lolly gets a bad rap. If you are beginning your journey, it is a perfectly functional plate and there is no need to spend 150$ on metal plate. I replaced my thrust plate with sunlites which are also nylon, but supposedly stronger. They were only 80$ and feel great. Just don't worry about it. It is a mental barrier that will prevent you from pushing yourself. You got dis!

    New to your channel but loving all these. I grew up skating and did some inline on ramps back in 90s. Haven't been on skates in ages but still skateboard and see some crews of roller skaters come to our indoor park and its fun to watch them shred and learning tricks. My daughter and her friends got a crew of skaters and could see them picking this up as well. One of her friends mom used to do roller derby and think still has some skates kicking around.

    WOAH Such a great video, Estro! and thank you for the detailed description. I never knew I could do all this with my stock lolly plate and no blocks :) I was wondering if you recommend upgrading the Lolly plate for the skatepark/ before getting slide blocks? I have heard some people say that you should switch to a different plate than the nylon thrust to prevent it from breaking from park use. I want to get blocks but haven't yet because I don't know if i need to upgrade my plate first? Idk! Thanks

    It depends if your plates really touch anything! If they’re metal, you should be ok but if there plastic or anything that gets easily scuffed, maybe limit the tricks if you want to keep them in shape!!
