Millennium Force is shown in the thumbnail although not in the video, but actually does have a notable Hollywood appearance. She actually appears in the end scene of "This is the End", being one of the many glorious amenities of Heaven.

Surely there’s a ton of other examples, too! I’m recalling when the Hulk at Universal was used in the opening sequence of House on Haunted Hill (1999).

It is not a group of terrorists in Rollercoaster. It is a lone terrorist played by Timothy Bottoms.

The blown up wooden coaster (The Rocket) in Rollercoaster was later actually blown up for another film called "The Death Of Ocean View Park" in 1979.

Revolution was also in wonder woman TV series, and National Lampoons vacation. The big apple las Vegas is in CSI and CSI Vegas. Another coaster, now gone, that was in Long Beach, made a few appearances in TV shows, most notable Leave it to Beaver season 5.

As a kid in early 1970s Atlanta, I remember the old wooden rollercoaster you call The Greyhound but we called it The Rickety Shack (Death Trap). Never rode it, I was too young, but watched it whenever we attended the Georgia or Southeast state fairs. It sounded and looked terrifying.

It’s hard for me to watch the distraction of an iconic roller coaster. There is so much life in a wooden coaster and so much history behind them. The joy they brought to some many people and them only to be erased by their destruction. It’s like they are forgotten. 😢😢💔💔😞

King's dominion was also heavily featured in the film roller-coaster with the park's racer 75 coaster (formerly known as rebel yell) being featured prominently.

Dorney Park in Allentown, PA was featured in 1988 movie "Hairspray". 2007's "Bring It On: In It to Win It" used the defunct "Dueling Dragons", called "Double Dragon" in the movie, before the Wizarding World conversion changed it to "Dragon Challenge" in 2010. Parts of the roller coasters in Six Flags Over Georgia are seen in 2018's "Hell Fest" and was used in Fright Fest promotions and haunted house features.

Not gonna lie, I've actually been warming up to the coaster crash scene in Final Destination 3. Is it dumb? Yeah, but I don't really blame the movie itself for all the "oh I'm scared of roller coasters" crowd, that's honestly just people being stupid. It's just a movie lmao

Not a film obviously, Kings Island was featured on an episode of the Brady Bunch with the characters famously riding The Racer. Some have said that this episode of the Brady Bunch had a significant impact on the renaissance of rollercoasters in the late 70s

6:12 He didn’t inherit the blank check! The guy who gave it to him gave it to him because he ran over his bike. The reason the check was blank, was because the guy was a wanted criminal, and he was in a rush to get out of there before the police came. The kids assumed identity was Mr. Macintosh. Dragon Coaster at Playland in Rye, New York makes a brief appearance in the thriller movie, The Hand that Rocks the Cradle. Also, not a Hollywood by any means, but the Intamin hypercoaster, Thunder Dolphin, makes a number of cameo apperances in the background of anime due to its proximity to the giant Tokyo Dome arena. One example being in Episode 1 of Oshi no Ko. I'm sure there are other shows that feature it, though.

Another really interesting movie for Coaster Fans is the German 1996 Made for TV Action Thriller "Adrenalin". I don´t know if that one was ever released with an English dub, so it might be even harder to find a copy of it outside of Germany than it already is to find it to begin with. That being said, this movie is interesting because about half of it was shot at Phantasialand. Since the movie was made, pretty much only 2 things you see from the Park are still there: The then still new Mystery Castle can be seen in a few Shots and among other scenes, the climax of the Movie was shot in the ride- and backstage areas of the Parks Indoor Coaster (Back then called Space Center, later rethemed / renamed to Temple of the Night Hawk and Crazy Bats), including shots of a part of the rides actual Blueprints and a control Panel that shows the entire Layout.

From personal experience riding the Corkscrew at Playland 26 times isn’t as good as it sounds. The Corkscrew like all Vekoma looping coasters results in head banging occurring during the ride. While the Corkscrew at Playland was considered to be one of the smoother Vekoma coasters head banging on that ride was still a common occurrence. The Coaster is actually a far smoother roller coaster than the Corkscrew. Simply put while I would enjoy riding The Coaster 26 times in a row I would not enjoy riding the Corkscrew 26 times in a row. I could probably ride the Corkscrew 5 times in a row, get off to rest for about 10-15 minutes & then get back on for another 5 rides in a row(repeat until filming is done).
