They’re only dangerous if they’re poorly maintenance, not tested before public use, operators are doing something stupid, guest does something they know is against the rules ie pulling a phone out/ finding a way to stand up

Even when I was a GP I never thought they were unsafe just scary

So with block zones. Yes a lift hill can stop from that if needed. But your more likely to stop at the very end of the break run or mid course. When Ride Ops dispatch the computer knows the position of the train and where it is. If the train has not made it to mid course yet then the ride control unit will not let the train dispatch from station unless it is told to by higher power. So if a train stops on the lift hill because of a block zone issue then that is a serious operational issue and someone messed up in controls.

Yes but in media a train stuck on the lift is more emphasized as a big catastrophe you never see a train just getting block checked in the news’s
