Reviewing our recently acquired Rolex Submariner 114060, aka the No Date Sub. This was purchased from AD about one month before the release of the new reference 124060, to celebrate the Watch Review Blog's 5th anniversary since our founding in 2015, and various other milestones.
This reference of Rolex Submariner has the super case, maxi-dial, and glidelock clasp. It's an absolute joy to wear, fitting a wide range of wrist sizes. The dial is stunning on this watch and harkens back to the original Submariner first released in the 1950s.

Keep that watch, it’s just gone up in value due to the new Submariner releases and the increase in size to 41mm. That means this model is the last ever range at 40mm. Obviously not a massive difference but a big deal when it comes to Rolex collectors 👍🏻

Paul UK, So glad you said that ... as I have been curious if my 114060 would depreciate with the latest model , with the improved 70hr power reserve , personally I’m not that bothered as the 48hr power reserve suits me , as I wear it everyday , but maybe the additional power reserve of 70hrs would suit those who have a wide collection.... and the increase size to 41mm is minimal vs 40mm

The actual size increase is 0.3 mm

Selling mine and replacing it with the 124060. The new sub has far better proportions and also wears much better on wrist. Rolex fixed their mistake, finally
