Hi Teapotube! Thanks so much for your comment! I developed a relationship over time with my AD and 1. he knew I was truly passionate about watches (not a flipper) and 2. we became friends and talk from time to time about life and other things.

Thanks for linking me over from the white Omega Seamaster video. This is truly an insane trio of the ultimate Rolex collection. It’s also nice to see that you have such emotional ties to your grail watches. (It’s disappointing to see.people get these watches just because of the hype, or the resale value without really appreciating them). And that’s a nice travel case your AD gave you but the thought of you traveling with these 3 watches makes my skin crawl! I have a 2000 Explorer2 and a 1991 blue dial 2-tone oyster bracelet datejust and wouldn’t take both on a trip at the same time. Enjoy your incredible collection, and try not to give any of them away next time. There are plenty of other nice watches you can gift.

Thanks and don't worry ... I would never take all three on a trip! I did however use the case to transport all three to my family Christmas celebration (my nephews and brother in law are all into watches). But reality is, since then the case has been sitting in its box. It sounds like you have an awesome collection too ... congratulations!

My older son got into watches(via osmosis) and has a Rolex 39mm Explorer and for his 40th birthday I gave him a Christopher Ward 38mm C60 Pro600 diver, black with crimson bezel. I have the same one, but after giving my younger son my favorite Tag Heuer 38mm black/gild diver that my wife bought me for my 40th birthday, as his wedding gift, I too felt that same longing you felt, so this time I bought an identical CW for my older son. The best of luck to your future collecting, though I can’t imagine where you’d go after acquiring the 3 greatest Rolexes on planet earth.

Great video. Agree with you on the batman and Starbucks. But I have a different take on the Daytona - as much as it is popular, to me it is small, illegible and overrated and thus sold within 2 months

While I won’t get rid of mine … I agree it is not the easiest to read. However, I do think it is the most beautiful of my watches. And sometimes beauty trumps function. That is why I also like Ferraris more than SUVs.

Hi Guriq! Thank you for your nice comments. Unfortunately, I was robbed of my blue DJ41 on oyster last May. I loved that watch. The guy was caught and his trial is in February, however the watch is gone. I am happy for you that you have that same watch - wear it for the two of us 😊

Great video Doug! All amazing watches! I would like the Daytona most but those asymmetrical lugs bother me. Haha, same reason I do not like the Speedmaster Pro but I do like the Speedmaster 321 and FOIS. I one day would love to do something similar to you with the Land, Sea and Air… and Space with the 321. Though like I mentioned for the Land category I would insert my Milgauss which I absolutely love

Hey Emkwan, I love them both but I am always more drawn towards black dialed watches. Interestingly, I owned the Omega SMP White dial last year with black ceramic bezel (very much like aesthetic of the Panda) but for some reason, it just didn't gell for me and I sold it about 2 months later. Having said that ... I truly love both SS Daytonas and the Platinum, and the rose gold, and the ... :D I hope you are doing well my friend and thanks for reaching out!

I tried on the Batgirl yesterday at the AD & did not like it at all on the Jubilee. For me, that Watch is totally suited to the Oyster & the Pepsi looks great with the Jubilee.

Hi Uncle Jonga, I would completely agree that I would choose the oyster if that was my only watch (or only Rolex). The oyster is perfect. However, in my case, I only want the BLNR on jubilee in my collection that has oyster (Sub) and oyster with PCLs (Daytona) to have/experience all three Rolex bracelets.

However, on everything Rolex I own, it’s all on the Oyster so while I agree that the jubilee mixes things up, the only GMT (for me) on Jubilee I’m going for is the Pepsi. I really think the look of the Pepsi suits the jubilee so well. I’m also down for the TT Rootbeer & that looks incredible with the Oyster fitted. Lovely collection by the way. I have the same black Daytona as yourself & it’s a stunner. I’m also down for the Cermit & would that as an everyday piece.

How old is your relationship with your AD and did it require you to spend a significant amount before getting these pieces? Incredible you managed to get two Daytona's!

Hi Money Pots, thanks for your comment. My relationship started in March 2019 with the purchase of a Tag Heuer Monaco (quartz). From there I purchased 2019 DJ41, 2019 Batman, 2019 Daytona (1st), 2020 Daytona (2nd), and lastly 2021 Kermit. That is it ... nothing else.

Yes, I was very happy to receive it. Previously, I was given a blue Rolex hat and a Rolex leather key chain. But this new 3 watch travel case is awesome. I hope you receive something special from your dealer SonikDethmonkey!

The two coolest guys ever both wore Subs, one real, the other fictional. Steve McQueen wore a Submariner 5512, and James Bond wore a Submariner 6538 Big Crown. Newman, cool but not as cool as McQueen, only wore a Daytona because he was an actual race car driver (and they all wore chronographs), and his wife bought it for him. And, the only reason the Daytona got so popular is because the Italians started collecting the vintage ones in the '80s, and Rolex capitalized on it by introducing the Zenith Daytona. Tom Selleck wore a matte-dial Pepsi GMT-Master 16750 as Magnum P.I., so that's pretty cool...but make no mistake, the Submariner is THE icon, and the true go-anywhere, do-anything badass of the bunch. It's also the only one with the Glidelock clasp and classic all-brushed Oyster bracelet.

Hi TZOID, yes, I am very fortunate to have a very good relationship with my AD and friendship with my salesperson.

Similar to my set. i have a 2020 Black Daytona (much prefer over the white) and i have a 2022 Batgirl and a vintage non date 22 year old sub 14060m. The daytona in black is stunning you find yourself just looking at it and the proportions perfect, i Part X my James cameron DSD and cash for the Daytona

Nice collection, congrats ! I bought my Batman with oyster strap four years ago, it has been my daily watch since then. I was lucky because they were ready to get some sport watches from Rolex and they reserved one for me. I just had to wait a couple of weeks and they also gave me a five percent discount.

Hi Timothy, actually I cannot exchange the bracelets between the Sub and GMT because the new Sub has 21mm lugs and the GMT has 20mm lugs. I have the Cermit/Starbucks (41mm case with 21mm lugs) not the Hulk (40mm case and 20mm lugs). But ... I wish I could :)

amazing, one day I may…..gotta save a few years for a sub or a sea dweller.
