Objectives for Part 2:
• Review additional responsibilities that are common to a business analyst such as: epics, stories, and acceptance criteria
• Learn the benefits of being involved with managing and executing testing
• Explore Now Create and examine useful documents
• Learn about relevant training and certification resources that a business analyst may want to pursue
In part two, I’ll explain additional responsibilities that I feel are common to a business analyst now that the client’s requirements are validated. We’ll also explore why business analyst may assist with managing and executing testing. Additionally, an introduction to Now Create will be presented and a few examples of relevant documentation will be examined. Lastly, I’ll recommend a few training and certification options a business analyst may want to pursue.

The approved resources I recommend are the Now Learning courses ServiceNow provides. They have fundamentals and implementation course (for implementation certifications) as well as simulators (hands on) and exam prep courses for each of their certifications. I don’t personally recommend any third party sites as the content can’t be fully trusted and has, at times, historically contained incorrect questions, content, answers, etc. you can also search for the “blueprint” document for each of the certifications, which will tell you how many of the questions on the exam are from what main category. This helps you focus your studies as well. Best of luck!
