Great demo, and very inspiring in terms of using the TR-6S as a performance tool. I was always sold on the sonic versatility of this box, but previously I’d kind of written it off as a performance tool and used it mostly as a way to generate a groove before bouncing the audio out to Ableton to build on. You’ve inspired me to be a bit more ambitious next time I’m using it.

The TR-6S fortunately has the ability to upload new sounds via an SD card to create custom kits, it works perfectly when I’m after something more aggressive

It's correct, if the BD is normally the kick drum it can be replaced by a short loop, that saves tracks. Hugs!

Hello friend, this little beast is a top purchase, the bass drum is typical of the vast library that it has, it is a KICK 808 LONG modified with the TR6S settings

the TR6 has an FM synth engine in it. sounds great.

On BD (only a single track is playing Kick and shaker) at the beginning is a combined sample with a shaker?

Hi, it's not a silly question at all, the BD has an original 125 bmp loop with a pitch to match 135 bpm, kick drum, hat and claps, greetings

Are these all stock sounds?

Can you play a whole drum kit in one track? Or just 1 sound per track?

On this machine each track is its own sound. If you get the MC 101 then a drum track can have 16 sounds.

Entirely different machines. The TR6s is a stand alone, highly portable drum machine. Maschine Mk3 is a hardware interface for a software production studio. You can do a lot more with Maschine but it needs to be connected to a computer.

@@juliannadoval I got a TR6s and love it, but wish I’d saved for an 8s. The synth stuff and sample import stuff is so useful it would be real handy to have those extra tracks.

Are the kick and click of the BD channel samples?

It's "virtual analog". some of the kicks can assign the 3rd knob to "attack" which effects the click. Save your money and buy one. I love mine and I own 4 other drum machines.

Nice work! Question: does the tr6s allow loading of new projects/patterns without interruptions, mid performance? Or is there a sizable wait time like for the mc101?

Hello friend, first of all, thank you for watching my videos and the support; The projects on the TR machines are the patterns, with their corresponding kits for each pattern, interchangeable in real time and fully configurable; I have used the MC101 and it is wonderful, instead I bought an SP404, they are the one that I can work in TR mode in addition to working with samples.
