ROKR Chocolate Factory Marble Run Part 1

Тәжірибелік нұсқаулар және стиль

I saw this marble run while I was browsing, and thought the colorful nature looked fun, plus ROKR has always had pretty good quality products in my experience.
I am going to be making an effort to have slightly longer videos now, just to try and get through these projects a bit faster.

Note image top of page 5... the rod's spacers are flush on one side, and on the other side the spacers are pushed in with the rod extending slightly. When put in the assembly shortly after, the end spacer on each side will be within a hole.

That’s cool, so far it is going together pretty easily, hopefully it’ll stay that way.

I use a brush with Vaseline instead of stick of wax. Easier to cover nooks and crannies.

That’s clever, I’ll have to give that a try on my next project.

@@Dbuilderguy I buy an unscented candle and apply the molten wax with a tooth pick or, in the case of a bigger area such as that carriage for the marble pump, a popsicle stick.

Hi. I just finished my chocolate factory marble run. My marbles are getting stuck in G6 part. They won't go down it. How do I fix it?

Make sure there is enough of an angle for them to roll down, mine sometimes gets stuck there, but not often, It looks like you can adjust it by pushing the collars up the pins a tiny bit.

Hi! I dont know if you’re still replying to comments for this video, but I’ve just started building this and mine didnt come with wax, could there be an issue with this?

I've actually been using petroleum jelly (Vaseline) and a small paintbrush instead of the included wax for awhile now, I've actually bought some specific wood lubricant just for the builds, but I think the vaseline works just as well, my only real tip for that would be to apply it at the last minute (on this model you actually end up sealing up most of the clockwork, so I'd say just put it on before you close it up, it will spread itself around), because that stuff gets everywhere!

That’s cool, to each their own, I’ve always liked building mechanical things that “do”something. Hope you enjoy the videos.

@@Dbuilderguy I just started getting into these myself. I prefer all the different components myself, makes it more challenging to me. Chocolate factory was my first, now I’m working on ROKR swing ride an already ordered their umbrella an tilt a whirl rides. I’ve already built the Ferris wheel so guess I’ll have a carnival to go with all my mini houses I’ve built.
