It touched my heart to see a man love his family so deeply. In USA we see a lot of men neglecting or even abandoning their children 😢 May God bless you and your family. Please keep sharing your testimony The whole world needs to be hear it. NO ONE NEEDS TO BE TERRORIZED AND ABUSED THE WAY ISRAEL HAS.

Beautiful story but I would like to reply to this one comment to encourage insight. “Became greater in observance” of the laws is temporal. YHWH never let the children of Israel without a sacrificial system. Animal sacrifices were instituted so that we might know that God is Holy and we, His people, may be Forgiven. The Bible says, “without the shedding of blood there is no forgiveness of sins”. This was a foreshadowing of How God would provide for His people and atone for their sins. The Tanakh is ridden with this concept of atonement and it is all related to The Coming Messiah. Why I write this is not only to educate but to testify. We can do nothing to “gain G-D’s favor” in our own efforts because it is only His Mighty Hand that saves. Who might we know in History that endured suffering as a lamb claiming to be the True Shepherd for the people of Israel? Read Chapters Isaiah 53, Zechariah 12, Daniel 9, Isaiah 9 They will all point to the messiah who has already finished the work (Yeshua on The Cross). Therefore, the old system has passed and the new has come (Jeremiah 31:31). Religion will do one thing, make you try to earn favor with G-D by doing all of the “moral” things. The law is good, but humans can never fully follow it and thus be perfected by it. We need a savior, G-D himself came down as a man to die and suffer for His people. He created the world and He gets all the Glory for saving it. We only need to believe and receive His free gift of Salvation. We are all separated from G-D in our sins, and through Yeshua G-D is reconciling the world into Himself. He who endured suffering, He who forgives sins, is He who saves all who call upon His Name. Look at Passover and understand, the tenth plague was one of application and not a “cultural grafting in”. The Israelites had to “apply the blood of the Lamb” to their doorposts. It’s all foreshadowing of our believing and obeying Hashem, not by trying to be perfected by The Law, but by receiving this free gift of Grace. The penalty of sins was paid for on the cross and its benefit is free for all who repent and believe in this Good News. God Bless.

It is amazing in that moment he was able to say Hashem Israel, or blessing G-d's name. Yes, G-d heard and protected and blessed him. It's a miracle that none of the bullets killed him or his wife, and didn't disable the car (flat tire, etc.)

As soon as I saw Roi's Kippah and tattoos, i knew that Hashem had changed his life that day. What a wonderful, wonderful story, forged in the most terrible and tragic of days, I felt that. Hashem always invites each of us into a deeper relationship, when life is hard, i always say " Lean into him", that is our safe place, and that is where we will find the meaning and fullfillment in our lives. I have listened to hundreds of hours of testimonies and accounts, even though they break my heart a little bit more with each one. But they each urge me to dig deeper into my own humanity in ways i can't fully explain. I feel if they ALL lived through that, then the least i can do is listen, and perhaps in their telling their story, a little piece of healing may come to each and everyone of them. Healing starts with being heard, with saying " this happened to me". Roi's story is my favourite, and i feel i am dishonouring others in saying that, this is no competiton on grief, but i loved hearing it, because his triumph was a spiritual one as much as one of survival. What he got, sitting amongst all that trauma, is such a prescious, prescious gift. Hashem most definately alligned his will and Rois destiny on that day. I have no hesitation in saying Roi is going to go on and change lives. Bless you all, stay strong, thank you for sharing, lean into Hashem, lean on each other. We are constantly praying and thinking about you all, every single day. ❤ from 🇦🇺

Roi, achi, your miracle is being heard about now on the other side of the world! You are right that we should not wait for something to happen to become more and more united!! I've been saying this long before the 7th.... we came into galus due to sinas chinam,,, now lets all have tremendous ahavas chinam and bring the day closer, to the day that the entire world will see the miracles... even the parts of the world with no internet.... let's all love each other like we love ourselves, and let's bring the day that more "hasan bitmez" ( the turkey official who tried cursing israel, and seconds later had a heart attack) kind of stories will happen, let's bring the day where the world will say "Etzba Elokim Hi"

It's not only about being united...it's about drawing closer to Hashem and connecting to Him through Torah and mitzvot. I think most people, even hostages have not picked up on the message of connecting to Hashem and will continue on with their secular lifestyle. When you hear hostages say they will dance again...they danced on Sabbath, on YOM TOV and desecrated the Sabbath in a way Id rather not say...Does that not awaken them? This man got the message. Most won't.
