That "Wow, what a fun and engaging concept." with the trapping had me laughing. Honest reactions are the best. But yeah, cavalry is king. Respect it or it will roll over everything.

I've NEVER seen a pelennor fields game, or a cavalry list, EVER get priority or win the heroic roll off to get the charge they need. Their whole deal comes down to that 4+ roll off when they're in range and it always fails and they get charged instead of charging. I'm glad they managed to recover quite well in this match!

Close one I think. Could have gone either way at the end there

I think that turn Gothmog had first charged and was thinking of heroic combatting into Eomer was probably the Time of the Orc turn. Ended up getting thrashed by dice that phase anyway but you were full contact with half a dozen denied charges, if the dice were any kind of even that would be golden. I've recently had some terrible games with Gothmog. Its not totally his fault but him being only F5 and 1 Fate means I have no confidence that he can lead from the front in the games I have played. I struggle to use Master of Battle on him outside of the obvious in the move phase because if he is within 6" of an enemy who wants to heroic combat, they are probably after Gothmog's head. If he doesnt Strike or Defence and the enemy hero within 6" wins the roll off, its likely they just run over and murder his warg or him in the worst case scenario. Feels like a push your luck mechanic and doesnt quite work in my brain. Maybe if I played more against generic F4 captains instead of badass F6 heroes he would feel less like a roulette wheel.

Hahaha, a fun game, a fierce calvary charge, and some good laughs!

Brutal game, and so close to a complete wipe.

ypu should make a counter of victims between rounds, would give some info between turns. You could add the state of might/health.destiny on heroes, too. This could make cool transitions. But great video as always

My Brother just got a 3d printer and I hope he will get it to work soon since I would like to buy the conquest creation stl files. But because it doesnt work already I sadly cannot buy the current Stl files, but I'm hoping that a new Kingdom will drop in the near future (maybe elves) and then he will be hopefully ready so I can play with these gorgeous looking houses ;)

It's sometimes hilarious how good MESBG rates Gothmog. Dude has a very apparent limp and a borderline useless arm, and he's apparently Eomer's equal in combat. Never not funny
