No other single single method has ever gotten me to click like so consistently as Winter consistently incrementing the like counter goal by 1 every video. His dedication to something so dumb is so funny to me. And the fact that the casts are so great help too ;)

I had to go back to 2021 to find the games where Rogue embarrassed Maru. Those were nasty...

I'll say it again - Do. Not. Let. Oliveira build momentum. He's like prime Inno, once he gets a strong position outside your bases and blunts your first counter attack, it's almost certain death. He's going to lean on you, force fights, and even with defenders' advantage his reinforcements will usually beat your reinforcements. Clinical TvZ victory for the former world champion.

@@benismann it wasn't close in 3 of his 4 wins. He walked across the map with ~5 tanks and 40+ Marines and just clubbed Rogue to death. Nothing fancy nothing complex, he turtles on 3 bases with Banshee harass and the first major attack with reinforcements killed Rogue outright. They were not close.

Olivera feels so much like Innovation. Rogue knew exactly what was coming but died anyway.

Crazy how such an old game can be so fun to watch. I think the top level where anything can happen really makes every game unique. And of coarse winter just making it funny as well as guiding you through what's going on for the less experienced watchers!!!!

What a strange gg on the second game! A comeback would have been very plausible.

I am an Olivera fan, and after the first game I felt disheartened, since I was sure his opponent would win, based on the time remaining - there was not enough time for many marches. Little did I expect that Olivera would win the next game... and the next game... and the next game, and so on and so forth. At least I was right on one thing: the weren't any more games besides a straight win!

Now Serral is about to start his military service, so he won’t play many tourneys.

Rogue just got tilted in game 3. Having to rebuild an army from the bottom against ghosts, on a map that funnels lings so much probably just made it less of a headache to take an L and start again on a clean gameboard.

Even if it killed every SCV (even 15 would be optimistic), he'd still lose. Definitely a strong push.

The way rogue destroyed was different. Many fans hated him for that since when he won he effectively clowned on his opponents and it looked like they were beginners. It is completely different than serral who just wins in quite unspectacular fashion, which is his trademark of course.

46:50 Its not early, Rogue is dead, he has no minerals and he is more than 50 army supply down. Rouge is not going to be able to defend against an army that is more than twice as big as his. He may have more workers but Oliveria is not going to let him recover.

we waited for rouge to come back. Sure Byun and the tosses retunring was a big deal. But rogue ist not just some player. He is in my opinion one of the 5 big ones. Serral, Raynor, Dark, Maru and Rogue.

Clem and Maxpax have no LAN-Results. So yeah, nooone else comes close. Tell me who i forgot. I understand if you say Rouge was gone too long and his peak before wasnt high enough to give him more cred then Stats and Hero. And i understand if you say that Raynor is barely playing so ignor him.

I would make a serious T argument for Byun and Clem. It's obvious that we haven't yet seen Clem's final form and it's already at the point where his m&m&m is uncounterable. Byun because he's a more consistent threat on any given day than Dark. On the P side, I'd have to go with Hero and MaxPax. I can understand if you want to wait a couple more years for MaxPax.

Ye I agree. But Byun hasn't won a big tornament since he returned. Clem and Maxpax no offline results. I guess Clem has one win in ESL 23 Winter. Yeah maybe i should count him as well i guess. Maybe you right. Hero has done just as much as Dark since he came back. So lets expand: Serral, Maru, Raynor, Rogue, Dark, Clem and Hero (and stats if he wins the gsl)

Why does no one use hellbats against mass zerglings?

Zeglings have a tendency to morph into banelings, Hellbats are light, slow, melee-ish range and cost 2 marines a piece, on top of using your factory time (which could be making tanks or widow mines instead). On offense hellbats can be eaten alive by queens or hydras, with no lings needed, unlike marines that are the most versitile unit in the game. I hope that clears things up, but i can go on.

Hellbats can be a mineral sink when you're going for a heavy mech build, but the economy doesn't work out for just throwing them into your bio composition, and unlike marinrs there's no amount of micro that can help mitigate the baneling threat. Which is a shame because there is nothing more satisfying than seeing a field of roasting Zergling carcasses under those blue flames.

Because you usually have to deal with things like Vipers, Infestors, and possibly Broodlords and/or Ultras. There might not be enough snipes to go around.

Because damage interrupts snipes. If Zerg positions overseers correctly, you can't get to them with walking into the rest of the Zerg army.

I wrote that their overall score is 8:7 and that Serral has more achievements and better results versus top Koreans. And I agree... it will be fun to watch once both are back in shape and it is a shame that Serral has to leave at the exact moment Rogue returns. But perhaps, this is also a good thing, as Rogue still needs to find his old form after being away which wouldn't be a good comparison of their skill if they faced atm.

Why do so many scrub Zergs forget adrenal glands. Seems to happen every other game. Zergs need to cry less and focus on their micro skills.

Seeing how much the previous best zerg in the world is struggling since they've hard nerfed zerg is really sad. For years now they've been trying to nerf Serral by nerfing zerg and it hasn't achieved anything except bringing 4k mmr terran and protoss players up to 4.2k mmr. Incredible.
