another game won by absurd widow mines deciding the series. Banelings had to be nerfed into the ground to protect terran SCVs because they can't do anything but use F2 and too low IQ to protect their own bases with planetary fortresses, but widow mines are fine.... Absurd

Two things that make me happiest: a macro terran win against a zerg, and a cheese terran win against a protoss.

It's so nice to see marauders beating any gateway unit protoss has and new cyclones beating any gateway unit protoss has as well, just being also very good vs. buildings and very fast. Refreshing!

I was just thinking we hadnt seen terran vs protoss for some time now.

second game, marauders/vikings are the comp..vikings can change mode to support the ground after wiping the oracle/phoenix..while marauders can clean up any protoss ground unit. ANY while tanking at the same time..siege tank is good for harassing/zoning but its not a good unit for wiping..

whether you wanna see a new her0 rise, or cure terran thru him. damn, double pun out the gate.

Game 1 should be the prototype for how game balance is needed. Protoss clearly needs to have a buff, maybe if colossus did more damage would be a start. That or more armor to it's structures.

@@hivetech4903 Katowice results don't match that, though. No Protoss won a group, none of them made it even top 8. Not a sign of health at the top of the ladder.

@@KingOfNebbishes It is not mathematically possible to balance a game around a single tournament once a year. Think about it. You need a large sample size of players and win-rates to keep the player distribution equal in GM, using data from ALL pro matches. Protoss wins the most tournaments in the Majors, so if you buffed them to where they were equal in the Premieres (like Katowice) then literally 95% of GM would be Protoss and no one would want to play or cast it... dead game.

@hivetech4903 It's not solely Katowice, though, that's just the latest installment. Protoss has continued underperforming in major events even after the balance patch.

Widow mine double drop is so damned broken. Not even baneling drop can kill workers that quick, let alone adept rush.

I really don't understand protos's economy. Hero had 3 bases vs. 2 and had more probes all of the time. Yet he was always behind in army supply. Even after the big fight at 35:43 where Hero cleans up Cure's army, Hero is still 20 supply down in army.

I'm not sure but generally protoss has less army SUPPLY but more army value. For example, a Stalker costs 125, 50 for 2 army supply. While marines are 100 minerals for 2 army supply. Big Difference. So it always seems like Toss has less army supply, but they actually have equal army value. Also, Toss gets most army supply from a massive warp in. But Terran units comes in flows, maybe Hero just didn't warp in right after the battle.

@@CradoGD191 I also watch Hero's minerals and he didn't had much in the bank, I don't think he missed any warp ins. It's just feels weird. If Protos have 10 Stalkers that's a lot. And yet they can be wiped out with 10 marines if stim+medivacs. Medivacs count in the army supply but they don't do damage, which means that Terran have always a lot less firepower if equal in army supply. And yet a terran marines+medivacs army is always superior to a gateway only army. In SC1/BW a marine+medics army would always lose to a Gateway army of equal size.

Long story short, all of them could have blinked that far, but they lacked high ground vision. The one successful blink happened because the stalker was outside maximum range initially, thus blinked a bit after the rest and had vision from one of his brethren already on the ramp.

How else can you pair wine without cheese?

Winter is my favorite caster by far :) I didn't realize the difference it made till I watched Pig and Zombiegrub co-casting in the formal style recently. No offense to them, but that format feels stiff and dry in comparison.

Pig honestly is one of the best informative caster if he gets to cast games solo imo. His best traits gets diminished when paired up with a less detail-oriented casters so we these kinda half-assed uninteresting casts. But Winter is definitely the most entertaining caster rn, no questions about that. I'd have no issue with him casting official games at all.

My worst match is against protoss, all a classic, and I normally copied the build orders of professional players, some do work well, but they are never infallible, a good protoss that reads your movements are capable of making a good counter, I decided to listen to my intuition, and instead of making marines, I saw the guy was only going to stalkers-colossus So since I started the game I only made barracks with Tecnolab to make many marauders, and god, it's a 180 degree turn, 3-3 marauders divided into 2 detachments is the key, he will put so much pressure that he cannot against your units that he will not be able to transition to air units easily, when he does you will already have mines and Vikings

I appreciate so much that he doesn't throw ads in, but honestly, I love Winter so much I'd still watch. he needs to make $$ to keep these great videos coming.

No... they don't. Because its never just Marauders, they are always with Marines & Medivacs with Stim, which scales a lot better with upgrades. if Protoss doesn't have splash they will get vaporized.

Next time your doing a co-op and you both get Zerg verse Zerg, defend defend and when you have the right moment... just win or lose.. save rrss trade out and make a tonne of lings and then do a 200+ banneling attack ebtween the both of you. lol... become a meme

My opinion, I disagree. They can tank, do extra damage to armored, can use stimpack, and can slow enemies, that's a lot of things. Most units don't have that many traits to them.
