Anyone remember the 2 yard bow kill on “Close Enough To Kiss”?? This was the first hunting VHS video my father gave me when I was just getting into bow hunting. Good to see Roger the man is still as sharp as a knife.

When I was 14, circa 1988, I called to order a VHS video catalog (that's what we did before the internet) from Raglin Outdoors and Roger picked up the phone... it took me a few moments to understand who I was talking to [uh, this is Roger from the videos??]. Roger was so kind & chatted with that young kid for probably 30 minutes about whitetail hunting. Great story teller & class act.

I used to watch Roger on VHS back in the day. My all time favorite hunter to watch . What a legend. His enthusiasm is unparalleled.

When I first got in to bow hunting 22yrs ago, I rented every one of his hunting videos I could find at our local video store. Love this guy, his excitement and intensity are off the chart. So glad you did this video.

He remembers everything minute of those hunts!! Pure gold of a human in my book! I can still remember my dad telling me the stories of his bucks on the wall, even if it was only a few bucks I still wanted him to tell them to me.

The nostalgia brought tears to my eyes.

I still remember going hunting in northern Wisconsin, my first time ever. The cold is no joke lol. Got out at 6 and it was below zero. It was frigid but still had an amazing time. That room is amazing as well!
