All three are masters of their surfaces, Novak has slight advantage here bcoz of two hardcourt grandslam tournaments inna year.

Objectively speaking djokovic federer and rod laver are the greatest players of all time who have dominated their eras like no other on all surfaces. Nadal is not in the GOAT conversation because his success is highly screwed towards one surface. He has never truly dominated men’s tennis at any point like federer (2004-2009) or djokovic 2011-2016). Just my opinion

It's actually kinda funny how throughout the years even with djokovic being a fierce competitor to these two equally, both nadal and federer only ever recognised each other as their primary greatest rival and the one they have the utmost respect for. It's heartwarming to see how they want their legacies to be remembered undetachable from their epic rivalry. As Federer had said, they grew up together, conquered the world together and now nearing the end of their careers together. Their rivalry is a once in a lifetime gift to sports. No matter how many years have passed, for us born in this era, tennis is always that 4th set tie breaker under the Wimbledon skies, and it is always 2008.

Besides those 4 there are Masters 1000 tournaments like Indian Wells, Cincinnati etc. Apart from GS and Masters there are many smaller tournaments, but top players ussually focus on GS and maybe some Masters 1000 tournaments.

we are very fortunate to watch both of them playing. their styles doesn't match but they are the top 2 of tennis till date. and what I love the most about them is the respect they have for each - other. I have seen both of them to praise good shots of each-other on court, when they are actually opponent. and it was my dream to watch them playing together. thank you God. for me tennis is now just about these two people.

How can you not love Rafa and Roger together in one team supporting and cheering each other on. Rafa's reaction after Roger's win is "Priceless" Good luck to you both, the Tennis World won't be the same without you. You are both great champions and perfect ambassadors of the sport that we love.

The mutual respect, admiration, affection, camaderie and rivalry for that matter, these two have for, with and against each other is a phenomenon in itself. Fedal all the way!!!

When this two genius retire, Tennis will be so different... at least for a good portion of time. Offcourse there are great young players out there, but this two are Aliens ... Thank god for Tennis. This will never happen in any other sport. This was one of the most special tournaments in entire sports history. Seeing 2 of the GOATS play together is something special. And I get tears of joy when ever I see this.

Even though after so many on-court rivalries, Nadal respects Roger as his elder brother and always considers him a much more complete player than himself (even in his book he has accepted Roger as a better player)

Nadal has not accepted Roger as better player in his book, he has always known that. He was trained to play against Roger by his uncle, who used to say: "Rafa, he is technically better than you at every tennis shot. No talking about your serve and his....so the only way we have a chance against him, is running more. Playing every point as it was the very last." That is Nadal. It was Federer who made Nadal so competitive. Mayba Federer is technically better, but Rafa is mentally stronger.

mckavitt13 hm after us open 2019 and seeing the strong serve and the serve and volley from nadal I think he has surpassed fedex, couldn’t believe my eyes seeing nadal playing so aggressive to the net :)

Hello!

Man..this has truly been a magical year for Fedal...No one expected these two to come back from injury at their age. Everyone must've thought deep down they were finished and should retire for being slamless for over 2 years. And now they are world no.1 and 2 after winning all the grand slams this year. To finish off the year, they even play on the same team and winning as doubles for the first time ever in their illustrious careers. That's just a cherry on top. It's so surreal, you would've thought this was scripted for a movie.

This video is so beautiful. 9:05 it's everything these two have given the fans and each other. What could have ended up in years of rivalry and bittersweet wins and loses between possibly the two best players in history ends up being this, one legend jumps to hug the other legend out of pure joy at playing and winning together. Talent and effort will win slams, but to become a legend? This. ❤

Even centres and big man who only attempt a normal dunk or a lay up for scoring are starting to shoot threes because of Curry

I love to see my favorite players, Federer and Nadal, being friends.

They don't produce em like Rafa Anymore. He seems to be the most ferocious on court and the most chilled out guy off court. Love him!❤️❤️

Nadal before playing the final and winning his 13rd RG played a total 13 hours and 13 minutes after defeating Diego Schwartzman, that's a coincidence too that bode the final result.

I have grown up watching these two ... I met Rafael in 2005 the day he won the RG semi to Roger ... I have followed him since then and Roger since 2002. Their rivalry is unique because they are friends ... Rafael represents tenacity and hard work ... Roger has a gift. Both incredible, special, magnificent, different ... but equal in generosity, charisma, kindness, mutual respect and friendship. ❤💕2️⃣0️⃣↔2️⃣0️⃣

Something beautiful that may never be witnessed in another generation! Two real live legends on the same court supporting and coaching each other and playing as a team! These are the moments that it is ok to shed a tear!

You can tell by the quality of the comments that these two are not only two great players but great fellows too. They bring out the best in us.

Love how Rafa is Rog’s biggest cheerleader during this event. No one questions Novak’s greatness but Fedal will always be the 2 outliers for most tennis fans. 2 complete opposite approaches to the game and it makes for the best matches to watch. So much respect and admiration between these 2 and it really puts their history into perspective. On the court it’s nothing but business for both these guys and their competitiveness against each other is through the roof and it’s cool to see them do a 180 and have this kind of relationship playing together

Roger, Rafa and Novak should agree to retire when they are tied for major (Grand Slam) titles, just to ensure the GOAT debate never ends... :)

Ferhat Tahar novak is literally just one year younger than nadal. Federer is 4 years older than nadal. So if you’re going to be surprised when someone says they should retire together, be surprised about federer, not novak.

This is such an unexpected gift to see them playing on the same team, expressing support and love for one another. The two greatest players of all time, and no salt between the two.

2 genuine good blokes...No faking,No mind Games,No Heartfeelings...just two good guys !

we are living in a great time, where there are two amazing players at the top of their class, who are also amazing humans off the court. It is a combination that doesnt come often enough. It really brings tennis forward, every little bit of class pays it forward for the whole sport. Djok and Kyrgios might be amazing players but they both have egos and tempers bigger than their game, which sometimes can impact the sport as a whole negatively, and it doesnt seem they really care about that, just themselves.

RAFA AND ROGER ON THE SAME TEAM..... OPPONENTS :- OK ....NOW THIS IS CHEATING...

These 2 are just amazing, you can see and feel the love and respect they have for each other. They are classy, true professional and inspiring.

No rivalry between two brothers on the court…just sharing love and talent! What a legacy…true sportsmanship and mostly character and moral values ! ♥️
