I miss Mr. Roger so much!😢 He was my best friend, and he loved taking me flying in his airplanes.

Sometime in the 80’s, the first time I ever flew in a plane, Roger was our pilot. He flew my friend and I (and our canoe) from Moosehead Lake to Johnson pond in the Allagash where we spent 2 weeks on the river. I remember landing on Johnson pond, we came over a hill and he banked the plane down and I saw what looked like a puddle and wondered how he was going to land there but the landing was perfect and he coasted into the island where the campsite was. We paddled to Fort Kent and got a ride to Eagle Lake where Roger picked us up and flew us back to Moosehead. RIP Roger.
