That’s awesome man!!!! Such a great book! Look into John Lennox as well, I think you’ll really love his books. He’s got a good amount but anywhere you start is great. Also idk if your familiar with more of cs Lewis works or not, sorry if you already are but his whole serious with mere Christianity is excellent, I don’t remember all titles off top of my head but problem with pain, the Great divorce, abolition of man come to mind. Just simple search you can find whole set.

There were already existing jews and christian populace in Palestine during the Ottoman era. The Supreme Court of Israel has said that these are territories under military occupation. It is on that basis that they deny Muslims on the West Bank the right to vote in Israeli elections.

If a country attacks another (Arab countries) and the defending country (Israel) takes land from the aggressor that’s called a win not an occupation. But some people prefer optics rather than facts. At most they could be called “disputed territories” because the Arabs who attacked Israel in 67 are sore losers.

There is in fact money in peace. But money in peace requires talent and skill to create money in the market. Those without talent are left with steeling the market with war similar to ancient brigands that attacked whole towns at harvest time to thieve everything the talented created and take for themselves without payment. Sound familiar? Peace goes on creating wealth if undisturbed for those who work peacefully. War stops everything. leaving nothing for the future, but it pays in the moment.

I'm not sure if you heard the pastor alluding to him following the lock down but what he's talking about is the IDF decides when or if the citizens of Gaza or supposed Palestinian territory can leave their homes. This means things like going to the grocery store, doctor or even going out into their own yards or gardens to gather food.

Palestinian Christian here, in 1990 I was 5 years old and had already been taught by my parents about the inhumane treatment/dehumanization and occupation by Israel. Things have gotten much worse since then. I still have a ton of family back home and they say it’s so difficult to navigate around the West Bank and violence is up. My cardiologist lost 100 family members in one day, pregnant women, children, babies, double MBA graduates, innocent civilians. Anyway thank you for the honest work you’re doing sir! I can’t stand these Evangelical Christians who prioritize Israel over Christ himself 🤡

I will pray for you and yours. Watching the Pastor on Tucker made me realize that in many ways I was exactly as he described American's thinking. Though I don't donate anything to Israel, much of what he said made me see the giant blind spot in my thinking and my ignorance to something incredibly obvious. The only thing that makes this make sense to me is that we are fighting Princes and Principalities and not just men. Too many things that happen and positions taken are so petty and help no one over there.

I dont think its possible, either we face overgrowth or hunger or tyrannical control in attempt to mitigate that (which will fail but people like to pretend an utopia can be figured out) - each has its issue but this life we are allowed to live has natural laws that enforce competition. From the bacteria in your gut to the grass in our yards. I wish and hope for peace but who gets to determine what resources get to be used and by whom is not an answer that can be universally accepted through peace in my begrudged opinion on reality.

Ironically I’ve tried all religions, after researching and seeking and not finding true peace in times of trouble and because I was such a screw up I definitely didn’t “qualify” for many “religions”! Amen! Over time I've come to realize that we are currently made to never find endless happiness or reach a state of Utopia. That's not why God put us here. Ever notice how people are in general never satisfied with anything for long? They want more money to the point they couldn't spend it in a lifetime and they want more still and are miserable. People marry and then betray their mate because they became bored of them, even though they were ecstatic to have them at first. It seems that every time we attempt to create Utopia we end up creating opposition, often unknowingly. We are here to suffer, to a certain degree, some more than others. Chasing happiness or, true inner peace, is a fools errand.

It's probably already illegal to carry knives in public. Just like in other countries. The criminals don't care about what's illegal, though.
