ROE & ROCE | Why these Ratios are Important?

The financial metrics return on equity (ROE), and the return on capital employed (ROCE) are valuable tools for gauging a company's operational efficiency and the resulting potential for future growth in value. They are often used together to produce a complete evaluation of financial performance.
ROE=Net Income ÷ Shareholders’ Equity
ROCE= EBIT ÷ Capital Employed

    Dear Sir, One question... Lets say stock A has low P/E, P/B and high ROCE, ROE and Div yld compared to Stock B. But however the stock B has higher CGAR for 10 Years or 5 Years even 3 years as well. How do you choose between these two since CAGR is better and stock price growth is better in Stock B compared to Stock A. Here i'm comparing for Tata steel and JSW steel which are in same sector and how to choose the right stock based on fundamental analysis.

    Sir, I am sharing my perspective on Gold. I do not mean any offense. Through your recent videos, you shared a point that Gold is over priced right now. You gave examples how Gold has given a return of approx 13% since 2000, and the stock market too. The starting point taken was year 2000. This is very biased point. Prior to that, Gold had given almost no return since 1985, while stock market had doubled in just two years from 1998 to 2000! Additionally, we are going through a major crisis. One of the biggest if not the biggest since the start of stock markets. Dow jones just recorded its worst quarter in history. Every single time during such crisis, gold goes up 3 to 5 times. Be it 2008 crisis, be it 1980 Iranian revolution. Gold has the capability to rally much more during such economic disasters. Yet I have heard you giving justifications about the hike in stock market, that people are considering the growth in next two years. That Auto sector went through a slowdown so it was its rebound time. You are just picking up random facts to support your hypothesis, but ignoring the biggest fact that NSE PE is almost 32 now! Doesnt that sound overpriced? And that too when only 1 quarter has seen a slow down, Bank NPAs, fall in demand due to job losses and fall in jobs due to loss in demand, all these factors are going to play a big role. Vaccines are not 100% effective. They will never be. Will families go out if their chances of dying from Corona goes down from 3% to 1.5%? Do families care about such stuff? Additionally, Vaccines wont be distributed in masses till atleast June 2021. The only factor that can support the falling markets is if Corona goes away on its own. And there is no sign at this point. So the only backup is Gold or Silver. This is my theory, my view. My belief is that even Gold and Silver should not rise during recessions but history tells otherwise. Their supply is limited, there have been almost no new gold or silver deposits found in last 3 years despite lot of spending on mining, and there is no replacement for gold or silver. May be if you would have mentioned that Gold should undergo a correction, that would have made sense. I still believe Gold can give big returns over next 2 years. Still, there is no point arguing. We are in times when the world is being ruled by a clown named Trump, so anything is possible I guess. :) I would like to say I am one of your followers and really admire your knowledge and communication skills. I really love your advice too (well mostly :) ).
