Rodtang is a pretty humble guy. I've watched tons of his fights and wouldn't have guessed that about him from the showboating. I'm glad I watched this video

Yeah, Rodtang mainly does that to entertain the crowd, he always apologizes to his opponent afterward too. Did that with Lasiri in his last muay thai defense.

Oh yea the Rodtang in the ring is pretty much the polar opposite of what he is in real life, he is kind and humble guy, in the ring he is absolute savage. I think mostly he does the showboating just to make his fighter persona more entertaining and that way more money. Good for him, I like Rodtang too.

It’s a Muay Thai thing lots of them showboat in ways but have complete respect afterwards it’s a more respect oriented sport than regular kick boxing or mma because of the cultural influence

after a war, beautiful to see the warriors together, mutual respect

Y'know, this kind of stuff is why I love One Championship. Two top tier athletes, showing nothing but respect to each other. Just like martial arts teaches us to.

Rodtang vs Haggerty is the new most epic Muay Thai fight. The first one Will always be John Wayne Parr vs Yodsanklai Fairtex. Both fights still give me inspiration to continue to training. Much, much, much respect to all those legends🙏

To think about it, all of his friends except were either his competitors or his enemies at the beginning and were humbled by him before becoming close friends.

i love the small banter, confidence yet absolute respect to eachother's skills.

Rodtang may look cocky in the ring but he is soooo humble..he lives a simple life in Thailand..he never forget where he came from and his life before all the fame..

Amazing to watch 2 rivals sit down and watch their fight together. Awesome stuff from One Championship and their incredible fighters 👏

Two of the world most dangerous lethal fighter in the ring, but amazingly gentle and full of self control outside the ring. These two are amazing

The love these two have for the sport and for each other. It’s amazing and very special when you have two very unique fighters with wonderful personalities become friends. When they both said they gained a friend, you already know that they’re going to be friends in the ring and outside of the ring. I hope to see these two train together. We already know that’s going to be a funny thing.

Fighting is violence. A very primal survival instinct to win or kill. Martial Arts has somehow created a way for that to become a beautiful path to peace. I hope everyone who has watched this video can learn from these two that martial arts should not be used for bullying, oppression or negative acts. These two with their skillsets are probably 2 people you don't want to mess with in any bad situation but are genuinely really good human beings. They've literally tried to murder each other but can still sit down and have a good time laughing at each other.
