It was pulled, like so many others, but fortunately I saved it. Real hot live performance by the Houston Kid. Enjoy!
Жүктеу.....

Love Rodney. Never gets the credit. This is just an outstanding live performance. Rodney is perfect, that guitarist is unbelievable. The tone, the feel, the 2 part fill. The solos just grab you and won't let go.. Great album...

and almost forgot to mention - Will Kimbrough is outstanding!!! One of the very nicest guys you're likely to come across in any walk of life, and while I love Steuart Smiths playing, Will fits the newer Rodney Crowell material like a glove.

Possibly the best Americana/rock song to come out since the categories first became intertwined. Brilliant socio-political-Bukowski-middle finger to mainstream lyric. Undeniable groove. Visceral mix. All the right shit. The video was pulled from youtube for some reason and its just as well produced as the song...grainy, raw, well cast...wish there was a way to see it again.

Thank you for sharing!! I saw them all (except the awesome Marcia Ramirez on keyboards/vocals) at the Germantown, TN Performing Arts Center (GPAC) on this tour as well. Talk about lightning in a bottle that night!! They put on a clinic of what it means not only to be professional musicians but true artists. That magical night 2 rows from the chemistry is forever etched in my mind, and this 40-something drummer stole a lot of licks from that young, long-haired groove machine Mr. Landry too!
