i ordered a lav mic with no adapter and was waiting for it to ship. Just canceled and ordered your suggestion since adaptors alone would be another few dollars. And yours is $2 cheaper than my original pick :) thanks for the info!

You must test it with rode mic , I have px240 it work just with lav mic not boya,saramonic ,rode or other mic make so many mic noise

I would say yes really, the recorder is only as good as the mic but I use my ICD-PX370 with a cheap lav mic and sounds good.

is it better with the lava mic? or without? im confused

I would definitely say better with the lav mic, doesn't have to be an expensive one either

I got the same issue with my stereo rode mic adapted for smartphone, i have bought and adaptator but it doesn't work yet.. Do you have the link or the name to see your adaptator pls ?

I'll be honest, it's easy enough but doesn't always sync then you have to do it manually and even if it does sync, it gets old after doing loads. In the end I switched to a wireless system.

do you deal with file transfer from the built in usb in this video?

Yeah the usb pops out on a slider and plugs straight in to the PC, then drag the files off into a project folder.
