He hs sang all kinds of songs and one reason he is still t it ll them decades after as the guy has moved with the times and cant take it away from Rod as he hs done it all and still at the grand age of 79 yrs still doing very well . Jools also fantastic and both work well together also is hlf the battle won.

Best concert I ever saw was Rod Stewart and Carlos Santana. One of my favourite albums is Rod’s rendition of the Great American Songbook, this performance in keeping with the standard and defies his age. Jools, of course, is a genius.

The kindest thing that anyone could do would be to play this performance back to Rod to show him that his voice has finally gone. He has had a phenomenal run but Rod, retire and spare us all. The leathers are also riduculous, even Tom Jones ditched that look.

Yes I agree. I loved rods voice around the late 80's but it's lost the power and range after a throat op a good few years ago. His voice cracked at around 26 seconds and he knew it. But, still a lower key and tempo suits his voice now I think.

He really has to step down from the podium now. I know he has a high standard of living to maintain but Really! Isnt it better to go / even if reluctantly than being pushed further down the line, when the only audiences you can find are the die hards and loyal friends? This was excruciatingly painful to watch. An old has been trying to retain his youth. I watched Tony Bennett sing jazz not long before he passed and his performances would put this one to shame. To save yourself anymore embarrassment Rod, PLEASE!PLEASE! Retire gracefully, you've had a good run, and lasted longer than some just be grateful for that.
