Santana was a major soundtrack of our lives, still is! 🙏🏼

I saw Santana at the Filmore in San Francisco when I was in my 20’s . Now I’m 81 and I’ll never forget it. Also saw the Righteous Brothers and that was amazing ! Also saw Janis Joplin. All my favorites😊

This performance with both Rod and Santana is iconic. Its mesmerizing. I've loved Rod since my youth. Rods spectacular voice and Santana making his guitar sing oh Wow!!! Just outstanding. Close my eyes and just let this song take me away. That guitar!!! OMG!!!!

Arthur's parents were from England. He was raised in Minnesota. Met my mother,a woman from Mexico,at Pac-Bell in San Jose in 1972. They were married in May. The 5th.1977. They had to cut their honeymoon short, to Asilomar,because my older sister drank from a foul bota bag at a Led Zeppelin concert and came back sicker than shit. We were staying st our grand parents house on 10th and Taylor streets. Our mothers mom.🤘

The only thing I can say is WOW thank you Carlos. He makes everyone sound good. Rod was good especially back in the day but this was done with perfection. Rod said one rehersal. Blown Away. Carlos does that to me everytime. You can see the soul in him. Its awesome. We are so lucky. Keep Rockin Carlo Santana and I will too.

Carlos plays with singers in a complementary and respectful way. He doesn't try to outdo them, he builds on the performance.

Wow what a combo, Rod at his best singing the blues and Carlos one of the most underrated guitar players. Interestingly enough, I saw Santana open for Rod in the mid 90’s out at the Gorge in WA State. They must have hit it off!
