I'm sure I read Collins say that playing drums for Rod Stewart, Paul McCartney, Joe Cocker and Eric Clapton all in one night was one of the highlights of his career.

I love Rod Stewart, this song was dedicated to me by my brother when he came home from Viet Nam...

Mike d'Abo wrote this gem way back in 1967 - it could have been tailor made for Rod, but he bought it off the rack and it fitted him perfectly.

This song is by Mike D'abo, although he's the frontman of Manfred Mann, he wrote this song for Chris Farlowe. Manfred Mann finally recorded the song in the 70s.

Disgusting that at the end of the song, he bows and discretely gives 2 fingers to the Queen - now he wants a knighthood.
