My dad showed me rocky. Ever since I just loved it, I have a poster in my wall I’ve seen all the movies a hundred times. My dad is a great guy. He inspires me so much to be kind and to have a positive attitude in life. Dad is my Rocky.

Tears rolling down my face, thinking about all the things I never had. Feeling sorry for myself, but I ain't hurting nobody. Rocky is a character but to me he stands for something very real.

When he goes up the steps for the first time and runs out of gas then gets a pain up the side and gives up and goes home it feel so tragic. Like he doesn't have it in him. The music is so tragic and defeatist but there's something strangely hopeful in it. Like it is urging him on. Rocky knows he's going to have to dig down deep for this. When he finally finds the strength later and comes roaring back up the stairs full blast with Bill Conti's main theme on fire I am telling you that I tear up every time. Such an inspirational film. One of my favourites. Not even really about boxing.

We all were able to learn so much from and connect so much to someone that didn't even exist. We forget that Rocky is just a fictional character...but that's the beauty of it. Because there is so much realism in there. Rocky showed us persistence, will, patience, love, fear, achievement, self belief, and a lot more. A magnificent story indeed.

this movie is not just the story or the acting, It's about life. How he overcame the most difficult times in life and never gave up when his back was up against the wall. He believed in himself and showed the world he's the only actor for this movie.

this is the medley I listened to 2 years ago when my best friend passed away .. she was only 40 and I was just back from her funeral, the most heartrending day of my entire life .. she was young and beautiful and I miss her so much. Not sure why I selected this song but it was a perfect soundtrack for that terrible rainy bastard day. Estás películas la veía con mi padre cuando yo era muy pequeño, tenía algunos 5 o 6 años, en aquel tiempo y años posteriores nunca llegue a entender la profundidad de está hermosa saga. Hoy la veo y me llena de muchas emociones, el recuerdo de mi padre con el que tengo hoy en día una relación muy distante, mi infancia, mi familia unida, son tantas cosas las que me recuerdan estás películas. Es imposible no llorar, extraño tanto mi infancia, extraño a mi familia.

Ok, but I believe it is definitely in my top 15, there are other greater movies like 2001, yet that doesn't mean I didn't love it.

These words come in very handy when life is difficult “I didn't hear no bell one more round”

Fighters sacrifice alot, they sacrifice relationships for training, they sacrifice family time for training and traveling to fight, they sacrifice their health and their lives in Hope's of even getting to the show, it takes years of practice and so much pain to perfect, They pour their entire souls into their sport. For people who are capable of such high levels of violence you would think they would act like wild animals. But fighters are honestly some of the nicest people I've met because they've gone through so much struggle and pain. The character Rocky stood for determination. “It's not about how hard you hit. It's about how hard you can get hit and keep moving forward. How much you can take and keep moving forward.” not only applies to fighting but life itself.

Spot on! Rocky is the ultimate allegory of life with its ups and downs. Anyone can identify to it in some way or other.

While listening to this music I remember about my family especially when I became a father, I still remember by kids birth face wrapped inside a towel given to me by nurse Life is just amazing Rocky movie gives us a very positive message

“It doesn’t matter how hard you hit it’s about how hard you get it and keep moving forward that’s how winning is done”

This made me remember my trainer who passed away and now I have the same words stuck in my head that micky said "Get up you son of a b**** because micky loves you."And I'm thinking what if my trainer said that.I wish he was still with me because right now I feel alive again.For 4 years I've never been so happy to hear this and I want to let you know everything is not going to go the way you want and I learned that from day one till now the world hits you again and again but you keep getting up. Thank you for making this it really made my day better than it was earlier. Stay strong get good grades and keep getting back up no matter how many times the world hits you Get Up

Thank you a lot for commenting this. This made me actually have hopes. I never had good grades. Last year my class works and stuff where completely disgrace. I never even cared about it. This year, I am taking a 180° turn.

There is something about old piano themes from the 70's that are beautiful haunting. This and the lonely man from the Incredible Hulk show are prime examples of this.

When you don't expect anything from anyone than disappointment can't even touch you. So stay on the ground and live happily doesn't matter how hard your life gets. Rocky 1 (1976) always gives me the message of ability to see the inner peace in the painful moments. And I think that's the real happiness of life because when pain passed away you feel happy by only remembering the peace of those moments.

La gente ama a Rocky más que a Stallone!!. Pero eso es bueno porque gracias a Rocky aman a Stallone también.. el éxito de Rocky fue su sencillez de persona su ímpetu y ese piano y violín de bill conti. Quien no lloró alguna vez con Rocky?

-Rocky una de mis favoritas. ¿por qué será que algunas películas que son acompañadas con esta música llegan al corazón de uno para no marcharse jamás?... las melodías son tristes, porque quizás uno necesite recordar todo el sufrimiento que pasamos solamente para recordarlos, y notar que algún momento la vida tenía sentido, un gran sentido. La vida.

Your comment is spot-on, Rocky is indeed an allegorical story about Life and its ups and downs. Anyone can relate to it in some way or other.

I always loved Rocky's storyline, and yes... I always cry when i head this soundtrack and i remember the woman I love, but she's not with me anymore...

My Dad original “girl dad” three girls (circa 1973) and he shared his movie passion with us. I shared my passion for the Rocky films with my kids❤.

This music 🎶 is a life savior for many I can bet. It helps to stay comforted and keeps hope alive that one day I will meet my Adrian.

This song make me relaxed. For me Rocky isn't only a film, but a guide in my difficult moment. Listen this piano for me is a hope that all will be okay ❤

Some of my acquaintances and friends from my jazz group mock me but Alone in the ring is one of my most favorite compositions ever, makes me cry playing it alone on my yamaha.

É uma lição; uma aula; uma exemplificação de como a vida é dura e é feita de cenas marcantes, momentos memoráveis em ambos os sentidos, mais certamente não há como não se emocionar e vivenciar parte da história de Rocky, pois no fim, sempre seremos nós diante da vida e não há escolha a não se encara-la, por mais dura e difícil que ela seja.
