Rockpool Fishing with a 90cm Tanago Rod

Here I'm fishing rockpools with a tiny fishing rod.
The rod is a traditional Japanese tanago rod usually used to catch miniature baitfish.
I've chosen to use slightly larger hooks to avoid deep hooking but the principle is the same.
I've taken the approach and turned it to rockpools in the United Kingdom to see how effective it can be on our gobies and blennies.

Finally, someone on KZread who does some actual microfishing. Everyone else is using 1 inch lures to catch 10 inch fish and calls it microfishing.

Beauty mate did you find your self kneeling on the rocks more ? I reckon I’d need my knee pads for those close encounters

No not really, I'd never kneel on rocks anyway. Just use a longer leader if you need too. I did sit on my arsenal a couple times while i was focusing in a small area.

Just stumbled upon your channel and first of all big thanks for putting out all the great lrf content! Now my question: I would love to get such a miniature aquarium for marvelling at my own lrf/xul catches...what is the term to search for? Somehow I just can't find such device 😅

AliExpress (about £30) but Tanago Max sells some similar
