A few years later U2 was asked to perform at the reopening of the Superdome (same venue as this performance) after Hurricane Katrina. U2 invited Green Day to perform with them. Together they played the song The Saints Are Coming and the performance is top level. Definitely worth a reaction!

The name scroll was already a part of U2's concerts. They were honoring the victims, survivors, responders and America before they were even selected for this performance. In fact, some of the organizers tried to convince the band to not use the scroll at the Super Bowl but Bono insisted.

Like I said on another U2 video, never really got into them, but this was a great performance...especially compared to the crap we saw tonight, so thank you Roni for requesting this. Our country came together after 9/11, so this was refreshing to see.
