Rockhounding For Gemstones In Nova Scotia
In this video, the boys and I head out to one of our favorite spots to go rockhounding for gemstones, Scot's Bay Beach, Nova Scotia. This video is my perspective of the hunt. The boys did their own filming and that video will come in the next couple of weeks so stay on the lookout for that. SPOILER - The boys found way better stuff than I did on this outing!!

You found some really awesome stuff! Your find of the day was just stunning. And your amethyst sagenite pieces were beautiful. All the different kinds of seam agates in that area are beautiful and wow, just too much to mention! So beautifully picturesque there and mineral diversity, you are so lucky! I cant wait to see what the boys found and how their videos went! They grow up so fast! Loved the video, and great finds! You still sound like your not feeling well! Feel better and stay safe. Excellent finds out there today, love the variety and colors. Beautiful agates, jasper, chalcedony, and saganite, beautiful purple. Enjoyed seeing the slabs as you found them on the beach. Great day out there, perfect for rockhounding l. Thanks for sharing Jason!

Wow, awesome finds! I love it all but my favorites are the porcelain agate, the sagenite agates and the seam agates. Such a great day with some really beautiful agates, jasp-agates and jasper. Thanks for sharing Jason!✌️🤠

Finding stones down there cream color with orange... then looks like cranberry jelly with pyrite all through it... really neat stuff

The geological reserve is neat there too and there's a big sandstone place looks like pride rock. Good photo op ❤😊

@RockhoundingLife There's new stuff broken out everywhere. ✌️ 😀 under the seaweed you find the caramel look for boulders you find the fire 🔥 😍
Do you need a permit to rock hound there? Come from US to visit family and would love to bring a few home to show our rock club
