Just grabed me a a set of the p1 punch subs in 12'! With a beautiful ported box and i love how fosgate wired the subs in parallel i belive it is from the factory so all their is is a single speaker terminal to mess with Just splice the posi and neg s together and snap in! Gots a kicker dx 250.1 mono block pushing these bad boys and they hit hard! I Dont have it perfectly tuned in quite yet but so far the bass is clean and deep even with a kicker amp pusshin em kicker dose make some good shit but soon im going to have to upgrade that amp to a fosgate mono block cause this kicker is a tad underpowerd

Thinking of getting the p2d2 fosgates 10s..but i see the Skars 10 inch subs are a bit cheaper which would u recommend..

Wonder how Rockford's slim subs pair up against jl audio's tw line of subs?

Thinking about a Fosgate. Been beating the hell out of my sundown sa for 2 years now and my ab xfl crapped out on me early. Might go with a p2 or p3.

i need help. im getting a p3d2 10inch sub and i was wanting to get the 500 watt prime rockford amp. is that amp enough to push my sub? is there better options?

That should be solid! The Punch amps are better but more expensive, that prime will work great but remember it is a monoblock so you'll only have 1 channel

I got a set of p1 punch 12inch, with a alpine mrv500watt monoblock! @2 ohms these things pound!

Is it good choise if I use monoblock RF R500x1D for sub P3-12D4 ?

I think so. I even think t500-1bdcp is good. Cause even im planning to get 1.

The p3 is the best but the p1 and p2 have considerably smaller motors beneath those plastic covers. I’m running 2 15” p3 subs in a ported enclosure on a Rockford fosgate 2500.1 amp on 2 d51 yellow tops. Haven’t been let down yet.

My amp will output 600RMS@2ohms. Looking for 2 shallow tens. What would be recommended? My box will allow for 1.05cf with a depth of 5in in a downfire config.

+Wilson Ent It depends on the impedance of the woofers. You might be able to get away with the P500X1BD. www.qualitymobilevideo.com/rockford-fosgate-p500x1bd.html You may need to go up to the P1000X1bd as you would be pushing the P500X1BD all the way. www.qualitymobilevideo.com/rockford-fosgate-p1000x1.html Let me know what impedance your woofers are and I can make a better reccomendation.

I ran my P2D412s (I had a pair) with the Rockford R1200.1D wired down to 1ohm. Very solid, clean and accurate bass. If you’re running just one P212 you’d do just fine with the R500.1D or the R750.1D

Hopefully someone can help me figure this out: I'm looking at the Rockford Fosgate P300-12 12" powered loaded subwoofer currently. This is my first ever car subwoofer, so I want to make things easy as far as messing with amp choices and the ability to quickly take the subwoofer out when I need the space in my trunk. The question I have is what Punch model does the P300-12 come with, as far as P1, P2, or P3? Also, if I ever want to upgrade, say the P300 has the P1 woofer, and I want the same size P3, is it possible to replace the P1 with a P3 with the same amp and enclosure that is the P300-12?

Rockford doesn't say whether its a P1, P2 or P3 woofer. It looks different than all of those, definitely a different cone, so I think its just a woofer designed specifically for the enclosure. If I was to guess I'd say its a P1. In terms of replacing it, again I'm not 100% and they don't confirm anywhere if you can, but I think you can. Front panel has removable screws so you probably could replace it

Quality Mobile Video Okay. I'll look into it, but from the looks of it, these P300s will last a long time if taken care of properly, so I don't think I'll have to worry about replacing the cone.

What get better sound... with a P3D4-10 or P2D4-12... I have a amplfier P500x1 and almost only hear eletronic musics! Thanks a lot

Larger cone with larger excursion is what creates more bass. P3's have a larger Xmax. You'd be hard pressed to hear the difference between these two in a double blind study, maximum volume in a given enclosure is what you will notice most.

You will get more performance from a P3 "10" then a P2 "12".

I have a P3 12 inch hooked up to RF power 500-1 and if sounds amazing!!!! But I think it would sound even better if I had RF 100% copper amp kit instead of this cheap CT sound crap... what I'm really trying to do is a all RF system 😩 I'll get there someday 😂
