Commercial Satellites? That’s pretty cool! I’m working on space planes, but I’m not sure it’s going to get anywhere. Nobody seems to appreciate LEO travel.

Outstanding video and topic, thank you! And I love watching Iridium flares. I thought I read that the whole Iridium network is going to get incrementally replaced with better satellites that don't have antennas that reflect light the same way the current ones do. So the flares will be slowly going away. Is that right?

Yes, Iridium is reaching the end of its usefull life but the Sats may stay in orbit for a long time making 'flares' albeit less predictable ones when they lose control of the orientation and they start tumbling.

I'd love more like this, well done

I humbly submit that you might be the coolest dude in the asmr circuit.
