Coming out of surgery to this has been both a blessing and a curse! Love watching you guys goof around on custom maps, but its incredibly hard not to laugh. Keep up all of the hard work!

I feel that my dude. I had back surgery when I was 14 and we had taken my wii to the hospital. After the surgery I had my mom play Black Ops 1 and I was laughing so hard I set the heart monitor off and had nurses rushing in to see what was happening.

This was exactly what I was thinking or even just a quick tournament where each series is only 1 game for like an after day 2 thing so it's quick every player gets to do it and they get to have some fun with it instead of sweat

I wanna point out that leth got the glove 4 times in a row. The chance is like 0.0068% 😮 around 9:00 (Except they disabled some power ups) With swapper, tornado, boot and disruptor disabled it’s a 4% chance 😅

if you care about ANY powerup getting rolled 4 times in a row the first doesnt matter since of course it'll be something. So the odds are more like 20% if we care if ANYONE gets anything like 4 times in a row its more like 60-70%

Leth.. I have an idea. So theres 2 teams with a boost capacity of 100. every goal the opposite team get +100 boost capacity. This could be modified in the 2nd and 3rd game with rumble and boost strength. lmk if this is a valid idea!

i originally thought you would have zero timer on the rumble power ups, you should make another with no cooldown powerups and see the mayhem unfold!

RL but as the 5min counter counts down, the outer portion of the map(the building etc) slowly goes its way into the field (make the buildings solid) with very little space.

Leth scoring over Guh @ 7:30 reminds me of that race in Spy Kids

I have a nice idea i guess: this but with only plungers and punch. If you are behind the ball, either you push it towards the opponent's net or you own goal by plunger.

We need some more rumble items. Let me dream; Rope: tie the ball to the player Reset: trigger a land event to prompt a flip reset, can only be used in air Pass: when hitting the ball, the velocity is targeted in front of the nearest teammate Zero G: trigger zero gravity on an enemy player Charged Ball: next touch on ball is boomer for any player Demo Ball: next touch on ball demos the player Spring: Fling the ball upwards

This would be an awesome LTM! I don't know if it would work, but what if you start the game with five seconds between power ups and as the game progresses that time decreases. So minute 5-4 there would be five seconds, minute 4-3 would be four seconds, and so on. I think it would be hilarious to watch the game rapidly descend into chaos by the last minute.

Leth, the moment that confused you is the interaction between grappling a ball that's been punched or power fisted. Pisses me off as a rumble main.

You know the boys are having fun when their collective tone raises 3 octaves 😭

At 25:47 the grapple does that when the ball is moving too fast, my guess is that it tries to predict where the car will be able to catch up to the ball so it pulls you backwards.

If ball move too fast and your car is not facing it. That's why grapple doesn't work well

I would love to see a power up activation instantly with 1 second rumble! It would be so awesome to watch.

You should make a rumble mode where when you gain points it reduces how long it is until your next power up. So something like a shot reduces the time by 3 seconds while an aerial touch might reduce it by 1 second. Maybe even remove restarts and if you score you get an instant power up. Anyway thanks as always lethgend!

Leth, I was thinking about recharging boost, and the corner and mid boost pads are Mario Kart style item boxes where you get a power up out of them.

yo leth video idea : “New trading coming to Rocket League” to meme trading going away obviously 😂 but if possible, make a way where you can trade your rumble power ups with an opponent. So say if you don’t like your power up then you could trade it to an opponent. i feel like it would be interesting because you gamble on either taking something better or worse. along with someone taking away something you may have needed or was saving for a good play. there’s just so many ways it could go. I’m not exactly sure how hard it would be to do because of the timers on rumble but i feel like if you could make it work, it would be a great video! some good clickbait 😂 *cough* could work the same way with boost *cough*

A spin on leths idea. Instant rumble but only with Punch and Plunger. The chaos when you set up for Plunger but get Punch so you hit it back to your end, or vice versa where you plunge into your own net like Guh did.

At 1 second, if you have infinite range and dont need the ball/cars on screen to use powerups, you can have the ultimate rng gamemode and everyone just put down their controller and watch it go. The only thing you would have control over is what car hitbox you use for it.

The grapple vs powerfist/boomer to where you hit the highspeed ball with the grapple is a feature and has always been there. (Rumble main here)

Ive done this with my friends a lot in the past while playing online. We just had a macro spamming the powerup button. And it leads to some crazy goals.. and owngoals 🤣

now we need rumble with the power still instantly activating but the power you get is determined by your inputs or "combos" you do

Y'all should play real instant rumble (1 second rumble but only with instant powerups (boot, freezer, hook, haymaker, plunger, swapper))

Idea: Rumble but the powerups activate randomly. Either everyone separate random, or everyone at the same time random.
