    I purchased rock tawa preseasoned12 inch. It was simply superb. Very good results. No sticking if seasoned properly

    Hello, Thanks for the video. Can you help me with below questions: 1) Can we use regular Soyabean oil for seasoning? 2) If we are cooking anything with curry like vegetables/mutton etc in it. We should transfer it to another Cookware or we can keep it in cast iron pan for a longer duration and reheat it in the cast iron pan only.

    1. Yes. You can use soyabean oil for seasoning. 2. You need to remove the food items from the cookware asap. The acidic food might react with the iron and excess iron can Leach into your food. I have not seen color change though. Another issue is the the layer of pulverized oil forming the top coating might get damaged. A wet cookware can get rusted easily too.

    I want to use it primarily for baking sourdough bread in 48 litres OTG. Do you think that oven will withstand the weight of the dutch oven (6.1kg) along with the bread inside?

    I purchased dutch oven by Mr. BUTLERS from Amazon. Because it is having a coppery color all over I immediately returned it for fear of metal poisoning.

    I am not aware of that brand. But the rock tawa one also had a brownish tinge to it.

    Some people reported that it is easy to break! Is it such weak? Can it withstand high heat for long time?

    We have cooked mutton curry in this(almost 2 hours), dal after soaking over night, biriyani etc. If you drop it, cast iron will break. So far, I have found it tough.

    Mam when i cook using this vessel, that dish becomes light black colour and iron taste also.Especially tomato curry.

    That means it is not seasoned well. Also since tomato curry is acidic, remove it from the vessel as soon as you finish cooking.
