Unrelated but: I have a song that Hardcore Punk fans are not gonna like: "Porcelain" by RHCP. Also, a song Doom Metal fans are not gonna like: "Skinny Sweaty Man" by RHCP (which is probably right up the Hardcore Punk fans's alley, however Porcelain is probably not so apt for Doom Metal fans)

It rlly be like that tho. I mean when you think about it they are super influential, like they literally created what we know as for example emo, or punk music today. I mean lou reed singing about heroin and sex whilst the Beatles was singing about love and puppies or whatever just proves that lou reed was ahead of his time and really changed the course of music history which gave musicians the ability to sing about real life issues without being criticised anymore because lou reed made it less taboo to talk about such things.

Yea but the velvet underground was really influential and ahead of their time, they laid out the foundations for punk and influenced many avant garde experimental artists 🤓

As a punk rock and hardcore punk fan I need to say it's true. The last time I listened a slow song with more than 3 chords I almost died.

Industrial rock and psychedelic rock is accurate. Had a co-worker ask what I was listening to at work and she immediately went "oh... that sounds interesting." Not my fault she couldn't handle listening to a musical dentist's drill mixed with a metal fence being hit repeatedly for a drum type beat.

As someone who is listens to indie, psychedelic and most punk I can confirm that I’m an abomination.

Industrial really sets the mood whenever travelling to cities. Pair it with doom metal and it'll be the tastiest jam your ears got covered with.
