The Bee Gees interview is insane. It's insult after insult, and they (Bee Gees) are so good humored about all of it. At one point they hit the wall, realized it was just mean spirited, and got up and left. They didn't storm off, they just left.

"No, actually, I'm a plumber! HAHA!!!" One of the best bloopers in history, even though it wasn't a blooper. Ace was sick of schtick. He was just having fun. The early 80s were a different time. It doesn't matter if the band appeared silly or had a schtick. The audience and fans bought in differently. Since you're talking about an era where the majority of wrestling fans didn't think it was scripted; the fact that people needed to take KISS seriously in order for them to make money and the rumors of satanism and all that stuff were driving sales -- you didn't want that image, however wrong -- tarnished. Even as glam took off in that decade, it was a pretty rough time for KISS financially.

Interestingly enough Iggy is one of the most down to earth, nice, and approachable celebrities of all time. Despite his legendary severe drug addiction and absolutely insane on-stage antics, off-stage and behind the camera he's extremely laid back and humble, to the point that most fans and celebrities alike who meet him walk away feeling like he genuinely enjoyed the encounter more they ever would or could themselves. Look up Henry Rollins spoken piece about the times he's gotten to share the stage with him. It's both hilarious and touching at the same time.

And then asking if they brought their own toilet paper? What kind of question was that? What would the sober answer have been? "No, I didn't". Where's the fun in that?
