I’m reaching a milestone birthday next year. My grown up children asked me what gift I’d like. I’ve asked them to take me to a Dimash concert anywhere in the world. It’s the only thing I want and would be the best present ever 😍🇬🇧

We all feel your frustration at the fact that others around us don't "get" Dimash and don't understand our passion for him. I have often said (and I mean it) that I would give up a body part to sit in the front row at a Dimash concert---and yet I have friends who won't even listen to one of his songs all the way through. I think it's a matter of being willing, or not, to open one's mind to music that is more complex and creative than the mediocre music most of us have been exposed to for most of our lives.

@@skirk9184 Yep, my husband refuses to acknowledge the gift Dimash has and the work he has done to achieve this acme. Says " I could do that ". Lol Jealous that I admire another man so much I suspect. Shame we can't enjoy Dimash together. He is missing out.

@@skirk9184 It's been my experience that they are simply unsophisticated in their music taste, not willing to venture outside of what is being played on the radio, satisfied with mediocre pop. We can't change them or force them to listen so we probably need to accept the fact that Dimash's fan base is probably always going to be relatively small in relation to today's pop stars. As an example, Dimash still hasn't reach 2 million subscribers on his youtube channel whereas Billie Eilish, who came along just about the same time as Dimash had his breakout, has over 46 million. It pains me that someone whose voice and music I dislike as much as I dislike Eilish has 23 times the number of youtube channel subscribers as Dimash has.

I think Dimash is an acquired taste, not for everyone but those appreciate high arts in performance will definitely appreciate Dimash.

I don’t understand how anyone can NOT love Dimash’s performances. With me, it does not matter the language or the genre. If Dimash is singing it, I’m lovin’ it🥰❤️!

I don’t understand how anyone would not love or even like Dimash. He sings in so many languages and so many genres that he will sing something that they couldn’t help but like but I think if someone says I don’t like that song they are closed from any other songs, they simply ont give him that chance. Personally to me Dimash is THE BEST singer/performer that has ever lived

Going to Kazakhstan to see him perform on the stadium. I will be standing up front and close but it’s a dream come true. My son who really isn’t a dear is paying and joining me and I think after he sees him live he will understand that Dimash historically be known as the king of vocals. Thank you for promoting Dimash.

Same here with my Belgian friends...they don't even react about their feelings by listening to Dimash. I'm totally confused...Can't they hear what I hear and hear, feel all the commotion that I feel in my hart and mind by been blowing away by Dimash's awsome voice? 🤔 It's still a mystery to me...😐 But I love to see how all the dears feel the same...totally mesmerised, charmed and grateful when we see and hear our Prince. I was in Düsseldorf, his performance was mindblowing! I have been walking into the clouds for at least a week! 🤩 with 💗 and thanks to all the dears around the world!

I'm in the UK too, my children appreciate his skill but are both metalheads who don't have any appreciation for anything else. I wish that he would do one proper rock song and one ballad (similar to couldn't leave but a bit longer) in English, especially now that his English has improved so much. I think that's what it's going to take for him to break into the UK music industry.

I cannot go one day (or actually even a couple of hours LOL) without listening to him. Life just became so much richer and more beautiful 🥰

When trying to describe Dimash, I ALWAYS find I don't have the adequate Words...if I mention Opera or Classical, they roll their eyes and tune out....🤯😵😵🥺 I just have to accept the fact that some people have Never heard 'GREAT' music...and never will!! WE are so blessed to hear him, in our lifetimes!!🙏🙏🙏💘💘💘💘👌👌👌

This was sung at the opening ceremonies of the Olympics. So if you get a chance later to listen to that same song, Olympico, WITH the lyrics and pretend you're an athlete ready to compete, you'll understand it possibly inspired some athletes to achieve gold because it's THAT powerful to hear while seeing, reading or knowing the words. Watch, read, and get ridiculously inspired all over again with this song.

Love your reactions. I too, have a few friends who just don’t get Dimash. I can’t wrap my mind around this. I’ve never followed any singer my whole life but I’ve been watching Dimash since 2017 when he was on the Singer competition. He sang Adagio and I was floored. I had no idea who he was. It’s my wish to attend a Dimash concert, also. I’m 77 and doubt that will happen. You go and clean up that bucket list. I hope I will get to hear your reaction to seeing Dimash. Bev

I became a Dimash Dear a few days ago, at 68 years old. (How crazy is that!) What a grand experience. I haven't gone to a concert since Jerry Garcia passed. Lord willing, and the creek don't rise, will be at the next Dimash concert (on this continent). As always, spread Love.

Dimash has raised music to a new level of the art form and not everyone can recognize and appreciate it. I personally don't like the Mona Lisa painting but some love it. Let's give each other room to appreciate what we do. Maybe it has nothing to do with our likes and dislikes being against anyone. Maybe it's what vibrates with each of our souls. Who Knows? @@elevown Dimash sang the song at BOTH events. At the European Games he wore a turquoise suit (unfortunately you didn't see much of Dimash, the cameras mainly filmed the flag bearers), at the World Skills he wore the same black robe like in this video, here.

@ Doug Friendly...i think some of the reasons issues that some people have defined themselves so rigidly that to consider anything outside of that identity would compromise who they see themselves as being. Another I think is people who don't understand or get what needs to happen in order to sing the way Dimash sings and are incapable of appreciating what it is he does exactly as a result and also this idea that you have to love the style or genre to appreciate it or recognise whats good or not...I don't have to love rap for eg. to appreciate what a talented rapper sounds like. I sure as hell can't do it. Because for me (all be it I have an ecclectic taste in music) it is unbelievable to me that people don't get how incredible he is. 🤯. Ty for coming back to DIMASH❤️

I have been thinking about the fact that not all are touched by Dimash. Could it be that Dimash's voice reaches only those in need of it? Many of us are elderly and/or sick, many have lost someone or have experienced some other tragedy in their lives. But it doesn't have to be this obvious. One can be in need of new perspectives, a new way of life, new priorities or one is thinking about the essence of life. Could it be that this need is something that we have in common? I have no idea how this would work (I'm not keen on mystified explanations), but this is what I have observed in reading comments to reaction videos.

I am a dear from the Philippines. Just like you and the other dears, I am frustrated that others do not see and feel what we dears feel about Dimash. Dimash's music is not for everybody. Maybe, it will take time for them to realize that Dimash is rare. His caliber comes once in a lifetime. I am fortunate to discover him. His version of SOS and Sinful Passion made me a dear and I will till eternity.

I am 72 and I think Dimash is absolutely one of a kind. I started listening to music when the Beatles arrived on the scene. My first live concerts were The Doors and Jefferson Airplane. I would also like to see Dimash in concert before I leave this world.

Ticket sales ales have just opened for his upcoming concert in September in Almaty, Kazakhstan and people from 36 countries bought tickets in the first 15 minutes. I'm in the UK so it's a little far for me to go but he's been holding talks with concert organisers in Germany so I'm hoping that this is the start of another world tour and he gets a bit closer to my country.

Yes, Kazakhstan is not exactly around the corner from Switzerland and the date of the concert is also very, very inconvenient for me personally. Anyway. I saw Dimash live in Düsseldorf and I'll be there again for his next concert in Europe. Lots of love from Switzerland 🤗🇨🇭

And I like Be With Me music video! There you can see, that Dimash had not only singing, but also sports in his life. And that video is like a little movie (as another music video for the song Golden).

Дорогой друг, Вы все говорите правильно, люди разные и с разными вкусами. Но не любить Димаша не возможно, просто некоторые не созрели ещё до этого уровня. А мы с вами счастливчики. Кстати на этом концерте я была у нас в Казахстане в Астане, это было грандиозное шоу, незабываемые впечатления и эмоции, мы ещё долго не хотели уходить.
