Oh my God dear Coolersson, it's been almost a year I remember we lastly chatted here. I remember you very well and our messages in the old videos. I have similiar feeling when visiting those towns I must say. Actually I must also add that the "behind the scenes" part is part of my journey also to find some peace and some corners where to stay alone quiet and just enjoy the places... Usually so few tourists visit the majority of the towns I've walked into... and that part, which often I do after filiming the videos and when I shut off the camera, is indeed... quite always memorable and a bit of interior reflection between myself... it's part of the pleasure of this little hobby. It truly helps me. I cannot stop being glad about your last vacation which I hope was inspired, as you say, bu the videos. I hope I could get a bit more interesting touch about places where usually tourists don't often ventures... very very very glad for this dear Coolersson. And I understand you very well when it's like returning home ...

Exactly, this silence, peace and the feeling of centuries of history flowing from the surroundings.... far from tourist trails and ubiquitous commercialism. This is, among other things, why I so appreciate your work and the places you show. Showing some monuments in Italy is not a problem, but finding the gems that you show us in your films is exactly that. Good sound in your films makes these supposedly old, dead walls come to life. Just time travel... When I look at it, sometimes I feel like I'm walking through these alleys... I'm still closely following your travels, I don't write comments, but I'm still here :) I don't know yet whether I will be able to visit beautiful Italy this year. A lot of work, but maybe in the fall... Best wishes :)

Very glad to read this dear Coolersson and always very welcoming to read such a message and to know these videos can be appreciated. I always knew that perhaps people would not love these videos and they always would be looking for Capri, Venice and the famous ones, but I always believed that, perhaps in "our small circle", we few know and appreciate these kind of towns, even if there are not many of us. I still believe the real "soul" of a country / a region / a town lay in the un-touristic parts. Since I was a kid I always traveled in Italy or abroad like this, visiting the "un-touristic" places... always did in other countries as I always venture to the crowded places, just to see the reality of that country. And glad to see I'm not the only one in this ! I hope you'll make it then this year in the end, and in fall it's also kind of magic in its own way... best wishes too Coolersoon and a big embrace

What a beautiful silent town , I love such places . Wonderful environment . Italy is really amazing . From a long time I am watching these towns through your vlog and each town appears to me amazing in its own style . One thing appears strange to me that why the Taps in the fountains are running . Lot of water gets wasted I think . I live in desert area and water is very precious here . 😊😊 . My best wishes and compliments to you Dear Ric and thanks again for showing us these unique places . ❤❤

Raj! Always happy to meet again here) Indeed, some of those taps are continously running which is a little wasteful, but perhaps I'm sure they are directly connected to some spring. But usually you can see in modern times a toggle on many of those. But indeed, this was a very very pretty town indeed, absolutely un-touristic and visited by so FEW people when I was there... almost sad to see this to be honest... well, maybe I can help a bit with these videos , I hope. Cool vid Ric! It certainly looks bigger than 66 inhabitants. Some of those places looks downright hazardous. That wall without a guard rail at 7:05... you better not be coming back home drunk! And that second northern gate looks like it's in someone's backyard! Very interesting. And those surrounding mountains... just beautiful!

Actually you're right Hugo! 66 seems so suspicious... but yet.. maybe they are second-homes? I suppose people don't really live there as I suspect these are used as vacation homes perhaps.. I could "hear" families around but... could be. A beautiful town this, VERY un-touristic for sure, which is a shame, as almost in 80% of the other towns I've visited - they are basically "unknown" :(

@@StillWanderer Over-tourism being an issue, these small towns just need to get people to want to know them - even just for a couple of days. I’m a big fan of staying in lesser-known places and my best memories are from there. Granted, they were not 66-people towns, but still. A proper slogan should do the trick. « Italia : more than Rome, Florence and that tourist trap called the Tower if Pisa. Visit Rocchette, Spello and countless other on the Riccardo Express ». There, done.
