I don't understand why people hate the design. But for me this looks much better than any othe gaming keyboard.

Picked it up, fell in love at first touch
Nice review, I actually love mine though :) . I'm a Roccat Fan.
Excellent review, thank you!
It is loud, but it is excellent for typing fast when your fingers have built up their natural strength playing piano.
I like that design. It really enhances the LED's.
I think it's a gorgeous keyboard.
I recommenz this keyboard, bought one this Spring and im in LOVE
No big lion head on the keyboard ? Miracle !!!! Ok insta buy
nice standard layout, the wrist resting mesh attached to the bottom of the keyboard is reallllllly underrated. I'm also a fan of this design because of how much easier it is to clean the keyboard and the colors are more prevalent. these reasons are why i currently own a corsair k70 lux rgb (mk.2 version). the keys dont look so exposed on that model which is what i enjoy most
Looks so clean
The speed of a cherry mx red, but the tactile feel of a brown switch, sign me up!

Fromwhat i know brown and red has the same speed/actuation force, only difference is the brown's tactile bump
I've had mine for about a year now and I love it and typing on it is very smooth and clean feeling and i love the feel. Love it so much more than my old corsair K65 i think it was. something like that. very clean and love the aluminum front it is very eye catching in person and call of duty on it feels loads better than my previous corsair keyboard as well due to the fact that I really like the space between the keys so you are not getting caught up on the wrong keys at the wrong time.
I love how every company is trying to one up each other That way we get better keyboards

How is the living light system working for you? What does it do for you? I am very curious about this feature. If it works well I think I'll buy it, but I can't see any videos or examples of it on the internet. Just a text on Roccat's website saying that the lighting adapts to what you're doing and learns the more you play.

@@Sjimbwow it just works. But there is not much to do. But an example: If you press a button longer, the color gets more intensive
Man I very nearly got this keyboard, and after trying it, I can say honestly that I'm glad I didn't. As cool as the keycaps do look, they have a hard to describe "rattling" as they wobble on the top of the switch that seems to be amplified by the aluminum chasis. There's also a very slight "ping" noise that would feel incredible distracting when working on a project. It's a fairly expensive keyboard and feels cheaper than it should. Obviously everyone has their preferences though, and if you're looking for a COOL keyboard, this is definitely that. Ended up getting the Steel Series Apex 7 pro TKL and it fits far more of my particular specifications. The keycaps are BIG and have this satisfying "thunk" to them that still sounds pleasantly mechanical. But everyone is different! If you like this keyboard, I can totally see why.
Now this, this i like !
Just got this keyboard. Can confirm it is gr8.

I really like the keyboard, had so many of them, corsair, hyperX, etc, and this one is the best so far.
Easily the best keyboard on earth
Do you know if your able to remove the titan switches and add then on another keyboard?
This is actually better for gaming cuz the flatter shorter keys has less travel time and are therefore more responsive
Nice video :) +1 sub Ive got one and its still going strong after some years. I was of the impression that the old titan switches weren't pre lubed and i cant figure out what you're saying in the "switches chapter" due to a combination of hearing loss / australian with faulty generated texting / english not my first language. Did the switches come prelubed (loaded??) or did you add it yourself? :)
i love the design of the keyboard and about to consider to buy it. But i foound the bad comment about it in amzon. Many people satrats to complaning about the the paint on the keycaps starts to fall out about the next couple of weeks.
Nice 2x3 switch tester :D
This gaming keyboard looks a bit unique for me but i wonder whats the response rate and how mamy clicks does it take
I already have a Roccat Kone Aimo Mouse which is my favourite mouse so this keyboard is a perfect fit. My current keyboard has blue clicky switches which I loved back in the day but that changed xd
Beautiful keyboard.
I love the design but I wished they had more common switches, I’ve been looking for a good Cherry Mx blue

Insurgency is the best game! I love it so much.
I saw in a review a comment that said something along the lines of "this keyboard is so good that I wanted to make a review just to use the keyboard ". I gotta say, I couldn't have said it better. I literally just wanted to keep typing shit just for the pure pleasure of using this keyboard. Truly wonderful. LIKE ITS ACTUALLY ADDICTING WTF!? THE SOUND IS SO FUCKING GOOD. EVERYTHING JUST.... SO GOOD!!!
Personally tried this keyboard, I just want to point out the little line on the W key. It is like the one you would see on an F key as standard. I had it for about a week but it didnt feel as good as my current k95 with cherry mx red switches. The keycaps feel great but switching from a normal keyboard to that will take some time getting used to it. Sound is great too! I have to say I personally sent it back.

THAT SOUNDS SO NORMAL WTF
Still debating whether I should get this. I have no experience with Roccat, and is the slight premium worth it over a Corsair or Coolermaster on sale (you could probably buy half length keycaps for this aesthetic too, as Corsair's font is horrible)? But then I heard their sound at 4:35. Goddamn, combined with a similar feel to MX browns and I think this might be a real winner.

Yolo'd it and bought the Vulcan 100 from amazon for $100 USD. God do these Titan switches feel amazing. They solve the few issues that I had with the Cherry MX browns that I had on my previous board. Best looking and best feeling keyboard I've ever owned.

Chris Sztof how good is the response time? My razor keyboard doesn’t have the best speed, just wondering if it’s worth the upgrade since this one feels a bit clunky.
@CreedK
5 жыл бұрын
@@rowanburns4841 Not sure what you mean by response time. Basically all keyboards have keystroke response times that are within a range that is imperceptible to humans. If you are able to perceive even a minuscule delay then something is wrong/broken. I don't know the exact actuation force, but it feels closer to MX Blue as it feels slightly heavier than MX Brown. The tactile bump is almost immediate, not halfway down like in Blues and Browns, and it makes bottoming out almost feel like linear Reds. The actuation and key travel distance is shorter than the standard 2/4mm at 1.8mm and 3.6mm. Roccat claims that this combined with the lighter key caps makes keystrokes up to 20% faster. I don't necessarily doubt this claim; but again, the difference would be imperceptible. It feels great and I highly recommend it, especially if you like the weight and tactile typing feel of MX Blues with the performance of MX Reds. I imagine that most MX Brown and Razer Green/Orange users would really like this.
@rowanburns4841
5 жыл бұрын
Chris Sztof yeah sorry I meant the force needed to press on a key, not sure why I said response time. There’s such a broad range of keyboards and it’s difficult to pinpoint one I like as there’s just so many, I’m just trying to find one which only requires a light tap on the key, since when I play rhythm games it’s quite hard to spam keys since I have to press lots harder.
@CreedK
5 жыл бұрын
@@rowanburns4841 If you're looking for the lightest possible keys then go MX Speed or MX Red. They're too light for general use imo but it's all preferance. These should be fine too if you don't mind something with a slight tactile point. I suggest just trying stuff out in store or getting one of those switch key tester board things.
I always wonder... what do they type while doing the Typing review

Soo if I wish to change the caps do I have to buy from them specific or are there other manufactures that makes this profile?

It's gonna be a thing at some point. Roccat are pushing for one
Key-Chatter is a HUGE problem for me with Corsair keyboards. I might just buy this solely for that feature.
Do you hear the keystrokes if you wont point the microphone directly onto the keyboard? Right now i have the Razer green switches and they are far too loud -.-
No, the next thing should be having the Alt key closer to the middle (under D and K), then split spacebar, then ortholinear keyboards, then different keyboard layout (Dvorak or BEAKL). With a split spacebar, your thumb will have access to 3 keys, and a closer Alt key will make it easier to reach. With ortholinear keyboards, they are more comfortable for the fingers, and from WASD you have 3 easy to reach keys.
I like the look but since I'm not expirienced in the mechanical keyboards I'm noy really sure what to get.

no mention of the claimed switch life or did I miss it?
Was there any warranty sticker on the screws or how easly could you place the sticker back to the original place? My friend bought one for me in Germany, and since I live in Hungary it would be difficult to clean or replace 1 silly working switch. I have soldering skill but want to be sure.

I have one personally and my space bar doesn't rattle at all
Innovation is good, but it's burning the pockets of curious consumers ... Like us :p
Problem with this keyboard is the spacebar. The slight bending while you press it. Makes it over time break in 2.
No replace parts and no repair service. Thank You roccat your marvelous build to last keyboard..... lasted 2 years of not so extensive use. Titan switches have an issue of getting broken so when you type you got double types or missing types. Really helpful by playing games not to mention writing passwords or typing in general. So your slogans "build to last", "best in the world", "100 million clicks", "The Titan Switch is a marvel of German engineering" and "best mechanical switch on the market" are going to trash with my keyboard beside it. The worst is that they are admitted in email that they are aware of the problem but guess what .... STILL SELLING FAULTY PRODUCT. NO ROCCAT EVER AGAIN. I hope the market will show you soon your place which is the bankruptcy. It could be great keyboard, it definitely looks good but unfortunately that is all good sides. My 170 euro is wasted but my lesson is learned. Before you buy any peripherals. First look for users reporting problems and ask company for repair service and spare parts. And dont buy anything which is not on the market for at least half year.
