Other than tape and foam, maybe use something nobody expects. Like the arms and legs of a teddy bear or something lmao

Polyfil! You could also get change from the register and penny mod it.
@JadeZen520

much like your modding of the ducky x hyperX keyboard, it'd be awesome if you can slap on some gmk caps on it. Also, how about finding some way to cut the plate to accomodate some plate mount stabs?

hahaha, thinking outside the box with the change idea.
@Amiro05

Make it completely unrecognizable, paint it, add new switches, new keycaps, mod the stabs, add weight (maybe penny mod), add foam, and maybe maybe even oring mount it, (either gummy oring or burger mount)
It's so refreshing to get keyboard content that doesn't pretend to hyperbolically retch at the mere sound of clicky switches just to appeal to the community's stereotypes. Like I get that a lot of people in the hobby grow out of the novelty of clickies, but why does a hobby that's supposed to be about preferences have to literally make people feel bad for still liking something that others don't? Be nice like TK, everyone!

Alot of people dont hate clickies they just don't like blues,the same as people who hate browns
@Boyetto-san

@@miyou3playz_yt389 You'd be surprised. Shoobs' recent beginners guide video basically dismissed clickies off-hand. Hipyotech and Switch and Click also recently did a collab where they were judging for a contest, and immediately and unanimously eliminated an IBM beamspring entry just because it was so loud with the solenoids, seemingly oblivious as to what a priceless vintage unicorn one of those is. Plenty of people in this hobby, especially ones that came in fairly late, are just pre-conditioned to hate any sort of clicky switch. Many of them just don't realize how toxic that prejudice can be.
@guessit5036

Among the clickies, I like Kailh Box Jade and White sounds. They have this gorgeous and genuine satisfying click, which a lot of blues don't even come close to. But will I daily use them inside my keyboard? Probably only when I will use keyboard near some of my coworkers or enemies.

More Aussie Keyboard KZreadr's, Love To See It!
it hurts me when there is no new content from you for so long. By far my favourite content to chill to.
Always love your videos my man, such a relaxing vibe. Favorite “keyboard KZreadr” by far. Was a bit disappointed you didn’t mod, but then I heard its coming in a separate video later - super keen on that. Cheers!
Always surprised by the cost to performance ratio on Kmart products, especially their new anko stuff. A lot of mates use all their "gaming" gear and it's all suprisingly decent.

I was an expat in California for 5 years, it's funny how even in the very city Kmart was founded there they were regarded as kinda crap, or going out of business. Walmart was like Big W, okay, and Target there was the 'premium' big box store. Inverse of here where Target is mostly crap, infact I think our Target is a literal ripoff with no real connections to the yank original.

I got Anko shirts at like 8 bucks that are far superior that my branded shirts that are 30-40 bucks. I mean sure the stitching is worse, but it pisses me off how much better the material is and how it feels

@gqouf it’s not trash if you compare it to any office keyboard. Quite cheap and actually if you mod some dampening foam under the keyboard. For $25 i can’t complain a single thing beside the layout. I don’t want to get familiar with that layout. Buy it just to know how budget keyboard these day heading. For budget gamer who are tie on a budget. I think this is a better buy than “gamer” membrane keyboard from something like logitech, razer…

I've just learnt about NKRO by watching this video. I implemented my own extend layer using Kmonad on Linux and had issues assigning Shift, Ctrl and Alt to some letters: pressing multiple of them didn't always work and the issues were different across keyboards. My keyboards are old and cheap. I wonder if getting a proper modern mechanical keyboard would fix this.
I've also seen these on Kogan and Amazon(Au) but personally can't stand the UK layout with the Waluigi looking Enter key. 😂 I am however, quite intrigued by your mirrored full size board. Where did you get it?
Keyboards and Hamilton Khaki Mechanical, great combo.

just out of curiosity, what's that typing test you're using that lets you input your own text?
i’ve missed you man where u been 😭
this price is amazing, makes you think how does it actually cost them to make one of these keyboards and what they could do if someone with taste actually adviced them on how to produce a good keyboard.
I have just gotten my first ever gaming computer and will probably end up grabbing one of these after the gym this arvo. They look decent and being that I am not super into knowing everything about the computer, I’ll just be happy to get started with one of these for less than 10 litres of fuel worth. I’ve come from a 2007 windows 7 that could barely run the trial version of BeamNG. It’s a bargain really. Thanks for the review man!
Hi, I hope you’re well. How to function the F1-12 buttons if they were together with the 1-9/0 buttons? Thanks
gotta love the hamilton!

I didn’t realize there was another human on this planet who was into both keyboards and F1… Aus GP was fabulous. Hope you enjoyed.
Kmart was big in the US till the 00s, when basically a new exec came in and went full ayn rand destroying the company, as I understand it, but I have commented on the internet, so sure someone will correct me
Great video, Just wondering if this keyboard will work on PS4, I want to buy this keyboard but I couldn’t find anything saying it’ll work in PS4
Finally!!
do you reckon we can replace the switches? just need to unsolder and solder?
Wow 🤩! Blue clucky switches done best by a budget Aussie department store lol…. Super ultra clicky blue switches. I love my linear silent switches personally 🥰👍😁
I happened to go to Kmart yesterday after watching this review, forgot that this keyboard would be there, saw it and bought it as a cheap way to see how a 60% suits me. It's certainly a cheap product but I'm still enjoying it much more than I thought I would! I'll have to give it some time before I know whether me enjoying the size is due to the novelty of something different or because I actually really like it but it's been a great opportunity to test it out.

new viewer here, am I able to swap out the keycaps on this keyboard? I have one of these and just wanted to know.
Low price and “RGB” seems to appeal to newbies, which is probably the intended segments. It would probably not sell well with just white LEDs though most will actually appreciate white LEDs instead of fake RGB in the long term.

i just had to do an emergency KB run this morning and got what is basicly the 104 key version, $40 and it goes ok, nice clacky keys so thats nice. some interesting and annoying lighting effects, and a cruddy wrist rest
can you put a foam into this keyboard and lube it? thank you!
