Thank you, following your steps i fixed my problem in 20 minutes
Thank you for making this helpful video. I tried this when the plumber had given up on my cistern and now it is working again after months of facing this problem.

Another very good way, but I will make another video is, take apart the main flush stack, change the seal (see other video about toilet leaking into bowl) and soak the main flush stack in dish washer descaler.

Thanks ! Very very useful
Very helpful videos..
Thank you for this useful video.
There should be a plastic restrictor/filter inside inlet assembly where inlet hose/pipe connects. It lets water in through narrow slits and can easily get clogged. You don't need to disassembly cistern, just unscrew the hose/pipe and use narrow pliers to remove restrictor/filter downwards. You can clean it and put it back, or even throw away (i.e. if you have another filter upstream). Cistern fills very quickly without it, but it may sound like waterfall.

Usually is limescale build up everywhere, so a good clean everywhere is best.
The blue ring clip turns either way for me, so not sure if it was clipped closed when I opened the cistern. Which way is it to unlock - clockwise? Didn't seem to matter anyway, as I could not get the filter bit free - do you have to pull it strongly? I thought when the blue ring was turned it would just pop free, but no? Worried about using too much force. And what do you do at 10.19 on when the camera can't see the apparatus?

Clock wise on blue ring to unlock as you're facing the valve like me. May have to use large pliers to turn blue ring. Hold rest of valve when turning to stabilise. If blue ring unscrewed, but valve not coming out then use wiggle style of movement to release. Don't use pliers after blue ring is spun clockwise. Just hands at 10:19.
Why does the screw part for me not reach the top hole when no water in the tank? In your video it does!

It's probably dropped to the bottom and the limescale is preventing it coming back up. Just reach under and push the rod up through the hole.

@@EducationPineapple the problem for me was I never took the tap part off which made it awkward! Also by lifting the bottom white base helped reach the screw hole part & now all fixed! Thank God! lol
A to podstatne od 10:20 minuty zakrylo jeho mohutne plece!?!
Worst toilet system I ever seen. I takes ages to fill and I checked water flowing good.
