Off~Topic: I am genuinely curious as to how AoStH would look if animators went out of their way to completely redraw all the characters and many landmarks in the series using the Japanese art template for Classic Universe Sonic, this has been a subject that I have wondered about for years but I haven't touched upon it in a public capacity; perhaps somebody is working on this behind the scenes, I could imagine this series and also the SatAM Era comics and Underground getting this treatment that it would bring this end of the franchise to the modern audience, it would have the same impact while accommodating for changes that have been made in recent years during the Post~Mania craze and wishfully it'll help the possibility of the shows and comics getting actual video game adaptations down the road. (:

Mania technically isn't that accurate either, but... Honestly it wouldn't be that good for Robotnik to use his canon design. He's notably a lot more violent and barbaric, in addition to actually being menacing Tails and Sonic? Pre Generations designs are A ok, especially for Tails

AoStH is definitively a "spin off" style of production. That is to say, it has a completely different tone and style compared to what you'd expect out of "main line" or "canon" Sonic content. In many ways it's a love letter to classic Western animation. This show came out in the 90's when slapstick Warner Bros. and MGM-inspired cartoons were about to go the way of the dodo, signaled by the awful "kids" versions of many beloved cartoons of the genre (Scooby Doo Jr., Tom and Jerry Kids, etc). This genre of cartoon relies a lot on visual gags and so playing fast and loose with the character designs is a necessity. I'd suggest that instead of simply stealing the AoStH name and making something that is completely unlike what it was originally, it would make a lot more sense to make a new cartoon with the goals you describe. The cartoon is something unique and special for what it is now, it would be a shame to over-write that with something completely different carrying the same name.

The fact that you were able to pull such an iconic Robotnik Pooper out of retirement to do a superb tennis match with you like in the olden days is still legendary.
