somehow I found oldschool games having more fun then does actual super realistic open world games......is it just me?

Because the old games have sick soundtracks, vibes, and stories! And them was more "realistic" with their problems. Omg Robocop a man in a machine body! Nowadays still we have not Him like games. The old games has "souls", the new ones not. The creators wanna just money, not give something cool to the world. Everything for the money just :/ And the games has no soul :/ Oh plus one thing: Battletoads one of the coolest and hardest game ever In the new games easy get everything, but in the old games was need lot of patience and determination, time to beat ONE level. Now if you have money, you can buy everything and the game is easy :/ Plus one more thing: The games follow the Robocop movies and the movies follow the Robocop games... Many games not like the original story and etc, so this is one more problem.

Few people mention the first level's music. If you seen the first movie, He apprehends Nash in a club.. Same music is playing.. ;)

I just like how all the arcades in the second stage has the Data East logo.

Way better than the first game! That first level alone was awesome!! Shooting criminals in the alley and changing the view followed by a strength test against a truck that blows up with a dude inside. Haha. And robocop can bodyslam criminals?! Awesome.

I wish more of these retro arcade classics would be on mobile. Good 40 minute bites of Robocop, Chase HQ, Mutant Fighter, Altered Beast, Golden Axe, Operation Wolf etc...sitting on the can.

Childhood memories at his best. The music of this game is amazing.

I loved this game as a kid. Just wish I could play it on my console now!

a lot of stuff from the early '90's still had what most would consder an 80's feel to it. This is especially true of things that got their start in the 80's. It's not like you hit new years day circa 1990 and everyone just begins banging out completely different material

I just cannot believe that the Robocop games didn't use a sound sample of the Auto-9 from the movie. The gun MAKES Robocop.

I remember playing this and thinking graphics werent great but gameplay was fun especially with 2 players.

sheenufilms that's exactly what I DIDN'T like about this gameplay. They licensed the likenesses but not the music of the movie? This was some of the worst music (though, admittedly, not THE worst) in a licensed title ever, and that's saying something.

The music was really 80's and I liked it that way but I don't know if people would really want to hear an orchestra playing music in the game. The gameplay itself was decent to me.

sheenufilms check the the date, It was the early 90's, not 80's. Also, it didn't need to be an orchestra, a synthesized version would've been fine as long as it was recognizable & tied into the scenes or the movie in general. However, the stock music they had was rather blech, and at times it didn't even sound like music The game itself looked like it was mindless fun, but there was nothing fun about the music.

Gameplay reminds me of vendetta which was an awesome game

Same creators as Streets Of Rage right? I mean the music style, the game play even the graphics are the same. I almost expected Blaze to jump into the screen kicking ass with Robocop.

Streets of Rage was made by Sega, not Data East. The music is kinda similar though.

I had no idea they made a Robocop 2. Who does the second player play as? If you can I would love to see a 2p playthrough.

There was a RoboCop 2 NES game, but it looks & plays worse than the arcade version.

Dude, don't joking please... You never played minimum House of The Dead 2? Because on pc that one has too the Insert Coin subtitle, when you playing without 2nd player. Every arcade game have this sub on PC too... Also games has too some replayed moment when you don't start the game to long time, but those circa 1 minute gameplays, the system don't know carry a whole replayed game...

RoboCop 2 was a solid game I disagree.

The first game is so much better than this. That usually doesn't happen in video games.
