On June 16th 2016, Bahamas International Airlines Flight 115 was a international flight from Paris Charles De Gaule Airport (CDG)-Bahamas, Nassau Lynden Pindling Int'l Airport. This flight was operated by a Boeing 787, and was operated by Pilot Hans Scheiffler (German) who was very experienced with the 787, First Officer Corey Settimana (American) who had only gotten the license to fly this aircraft just 3 months before, and Flight Engineer Maggey Byrde (American) who was reasonably experienced with the aircraft. This aircraft would crash somewhere near at Andros Island near West Side National Park. Most of the flight went normally, but while turning for the ILS approach onto runway 10, a fatal rudder jam sending it banking left would cause it to invert and crash into the sea near Andros Island. Other aircraft sighted the accident, including the pilot of LATAM flight 283, who would later play as an important witness for the aircrash investigation afterwards. It shows the plane Banking left and inverting in its final moments before crashing. The investigation team would recommend grounding all 787's until a new rudder design was made, due to it being determined that its design made it more prone to jams than usual, and Boeing hid this fact from the operators. Boeing would recieve big backlash and heavy fines for this accident, as well as paying people after settling lawsuits with the victim's families.

Somehow at the first second of the video, I was already sobbing, but when it hit the water... I couldn't take it anymore and cried. They kept doing their stuff when the alarms went off and a man named Joe Cent ran upstairs and then fell down, and then sucked upstairs. They noticed this but somehow the roof of the second floor detached since of the wind. The plane went down and every started to panic. The plane fell into the ocean and then it fell onto a big island. 39 people died with 7 survivors, including the three men.

When it fell into the water, I managed to survive because the fires didn’t work in water. I floated on the 1st stage flap but the wires were smoking. hello. i am at the other table in the video. the flight was going from ho chi minh, vietnam to phnom penh, cambodia. i needed to go on a business trip. the person filming this is my colleague. he is 36 years old. he unfortunately did not make the flight. i had another unfortunate experience roughly 8 months ago. anyway, this is my story: i was having an online meeting with my boss back in ho chi minh, when a hurricane hit his home. it disconnected. i was terrified since we had just left. suddenly the plane flips over and i hit my hid on the roof, giving me a mild head injury. my laptop exploded when it was in water and it put soot EVERYWHERE. as water spewed in from the window, i realised, is this my fate? ive already dodged death once, but is this going to be brutal? i didnt bother getting out. i sat there, the only thing keeping me seated is the seatbelt and then suddenly i get stuck. i cant leave. luckily, i have a tiny pocket of air in the corner left for me to breath. i did the calculations and it was supposed to last me 3 minutes. a perfect time to call my parents on the phone. suddenly, i felt the plane arise from the water. then the cabin announced “please put on your seatbelt as we will be towed to phpn instead.” i felt pure joy & happiness rush through my veins. i tried to contain my excitement. but, i screamed with joy, tears rolling down my cheeks. then i looked around, my favorite colleague’s corpse was sitting there. i was devastated. first my 2 best friends in nepal die, now this? joy quickly turned to depression. more tears ran down my cheek violently. i was stuck in my seatbelt. i couldnt get out. so, i had to watch my best friends corpse lie there for 2 hours straight. i tried to distract myself, but to no avail i started crying. then, we landed. i ran out, wiping tears from my eyes.
