i feel like it should've needed more quality insurance despite them saying they had some if they aren't actually going to pick the right games. although there are like 2/3 good games, some games are absolutely terrible such as Adopt Me that requires hours of boring gp.

The other problem is the execution of the events themselves, most of them are tedious and grindy

as someone who is from 2010, i literally predicted this, yet the newgens believed that it wasn't going to be like this.

One of the saving graces is that you only have to play about half of the games to get everything. (Also, the hub has some tokens and tix to collect as well.)

I hate roblox events now literally so dull, it feels like one of those games that just serve no purpose.

I honestly relate I thought like old games would come back and new games are deleted like dusty trip and blade ball are new 2023-2024 games so honestly you’re right

Getting tokens sucked, I only came for the bucket, got it, then left with hours of my life lost.

I don’t think y’all understand how these events work, games have to SIGN UP to get in the event. Most classic games most likely did not, so that’s why we have more modern games. It’s not Roblox’s fault.

Why did they think it was a good idea to make 125 badges to get across 15 games in 5 days?! the games again dont try, youd think there would be more effort due to there being way less games but they are still uncreative and boring. theres literally only 4 decent prizes and the launcher items take forever to get because the servers are so unbelievably small youd have to wait for like 3 hours in a queue. this is pure nostalgia bait.

I got pretty excited for this event, just to find out most of the games in it aren't even classic 💀

At least the hub it self seems to have kind of nostalgic minigames :V Everyone woulda really been willing to spend time and money if they added the pizza place, bricksbattle, fe, hide n seek, natural disaster survival, elevator games, minigames etc.

It's literally 4 prizes, and awful games like TTD or Blade Ball, the event just feels lazy and unfinished, I'm done with Roblox

@@SporianSummit I know, but I don't really count those, I wish they added more prizes that aren't star creator or admin ones, or gold track, considering there's like 80+ collectible tokens and the last prize needing 15 tokens

tbh if the event was JUST the classic hub (like just that game), have tix being collectables you find around the map, and obtain ro-coins from doing minigames or doing quests, this event would have been better. Roblox just does developer hunts instead of having just one game dedicated to an event.

I kinda expected old textures and lots of old sounds but it was just a event where they created a new section and recommended games

They had so much opportunity to make this event good by having ACTUAL good old games but knowing roblox nowadays, thats not gonna happen anytime soon. Like literally, fucking toilet tower defense? Actual dissapointing. The hub itself is great, its brings waves of nostalgia, but the games, what the fuck Roblox.

I just spent an hour and a half on the toilet tower defense stupid ass thing and got to the final stage, just for me to lose and not get ANY of my progress, an hour of my life WASTED. This event sucks so bad im not playing it, roblox fell off so hard

Instead of making the game feel like classic roblox with classic games from 2014 they decide to littery use new games,make it look like classic roblox (i was expecting really classic looking objects,but no they decide to make the new models just retexture it) the event sucks.

Do you know how difficult it would be for the creators of these games to learn to program an event in an up-to-date language that they have not touched for a decade in such a short time without resorting to "crunch"? I would simply prefer more memorable and fun events in games that even if they are not really classics they have their good references to the Internet and by extension to the roblox of that era.

The hub was the awesome thing about this whole event, and we gotta respect TwinAtlas for it Not Roblox Roblox knows nothing about what the community likes

It’s a downgraded version of the hunt that’s goodness solely relies on nostalgia. Even if you have nostalgia to classic Roblox, the classic theming gets overused so much in modern games because it’s way easier to make than actually spending time and effort into producing a high quality product. When me and most of my friends joined the game, we actually just felt dread and disappointment. Something shouldn’t have to rely on nostalgia to be good. The Classic is a terrible, low quality mess using the retro theming to distract players from the steaming pile of shit that it is. The only good games in the event are TDS and BSS. I forgot what the first prize even was 3 hours after I got it and the second prize doesn’t even work correctly with the more expressive animations like Bold and Ninja. I bet if the event was exactly the same without the retro stuff, people would be flipping out right now. But Roblox players are too busy bitching about how “old Roblox was better” instead of enjoying what we have right now. Spending your whole life thinking about the past and not enjoying the present is not a good mindset to have. Even if the community is worse nowadays, Roblox can’t do anything about it, that’s just the internet. Plus, everything else about modern Roblox is better anyways. If you like classic Roblox so much, just play classic games. Most of the events biggest supporters just seem like fake Roblox OG’s being happy that they can play higher quality games and have classic theming in them. I think it’s better to embrace the era that you started in, rather than reminiscing a time period you weren’t there to enjoy.

You know what really grinds my gears? This stupid comment section. Seriously, there is actually some good to this, and some of yall saying that "OhH thE HunT is BettEr ThaN THiS ShIt!1!!1" is just FACTUALLY WRONG! One of the main complaints on the hunt was the ammount of games there is, roblox lowered the games from 100 to 15, not only that, but there is alot of stuff you can do in the main hub, with actually classic stuff such as guess the character or capture the flag. Speaking of the classic hub, another complaint about the hunt was its dull hub, there was nothing but an insane ammount of portals to multiple games with a few extra stuff like the leaderboard and thats it. This event did so much more that the hunt didnt do, i really only have 2 major complaints and a few minor ones, the major ones being the time you have to complete the event and the game choices, but yea the games being terrible isnt roblox's fault. People like you that complain about the event without looking at the positives is the very reason roblox stopped doing events in the first place. Edit: i completely forgot about this but yes, some of the criticisms shown in the comments are valid, the thing is that there are some complaints so bad that It infuriates me.

Some of the game choices are bad. but in general the game choices are good. i don't understand why people say "WHY CAN'T THEY DO CLASSIC GAMES" and ignore the fact most classic games are dead and not being updated.

Games Rating (my opinion): Dragon Adventures - what is this? Dress to Impress - trash Blade Ball - ok I think? Arsenal - this pretty good Livetopia - 💀💀 Driving Empire - maybe? Gunfight arena - good R. Tycoon 2 - maybe? Clip It - from tiktok/shorts to roblox... weird. Bee Swarm - W game. Best game in event. A dusty trip - yeah its good too Adopt me - 💀💀💀💀💀💀💀💀 Toilet Tower Defence - trash. worst game ever. please delete this game. 💀 Tower Defence Simulator - Well. Not Tower Battles (classic), but still good. One of my fav tower defence game. Bedwars - mid game.

Most classic games on roblox don't get uodated anymore so it would be harder to make the event

Excepted a review but this is mostly just a awful nitpick. "That's not classic" While there are Roblox classic games still updated barely any of them actually survived long enough to be relevant and be in an event, not every game in an event needs to be themed around the event. Roblox also references alot of old classic things in the lobby which you ignore because this is a nitpick. Sure SOME of the game choices are bad like that skibidi toilet game but not alot of them are that bad. "Oh there's the cashgrab" (or something along the lines of that)" So like you can't sell anything that's expensive otherwise it's a cashgrab. A cashgrab is something made to make as much money as possible with little effort. The lobby has quests, references, and is overall huge. The items are good some are reskins but whatever. "Because i have to play toilet tower defense" You don't. It's optional. Overall this video sucks and even as a nitpick. You ignore 80% of the event just to make it seem like the worse thing ever.

its genuinely tragic, ive been playing roblox for over 10 years and I spent an hour trying to get the arsenal tokens, which for one of them you need to beat the whole quest with only the starting gun. i got to the end just to be pushed into a rocket launcher by some zombies. the event is tedious, boring, stale, theres nothing good about it. i genuinely felt no emotion whatsoever except for anger when im meant to literally feel nostalgia. even the hub is fucking AWFUL, it feels so tedious to walk around the map to get absolutely nothing. every single game feels like it didnt try other than arsenal, which is completely imbalanced. a dusty trip is literally glitched aswell
