Giving devs the power to see if someone has auto-renew on is kinda evil ngl. If I buy a month of a service and cancel immediately after, it really isn’t the dev’s business beyond “I bought 1 month,” and they shouldn’t be able to hold that against me.

Any kind of service that offers subscriptions need to know if you are renewing or not, how else would they know if they should display the "Cancel Subscription", or the "Re-Subscribe" button in their UI.

Why can't we price it in Robux as an option? most kids won't have a visa around them, and what if someone quits roblox but forgets to turn off their subscription(and I know subscriptions work on person forgetting)

@@nikk7022 well if you subscribe for 100 dollars in Roblox, forget to cancel it, next month you'll lose 100 dollars to something you wont use. or something small like 7 dollars, if you don't check you transaction history for months, that much would stack up with time

About the roblox adding a button that shows you a menu with alp the subscriptions of the game, why not just do that yourself? You can just make a button that makes a menu appear with wll the subscriptiond your game offers, tnat way you can customize the gui to fit your game's style too (except for the actusl purchase prompt, that will ofc be the same)

its been in there for a while actually, and a few partnered games had it in games

I do agree that Roblox should add a button in the "more menu" for gamepasses and subscriptions.

Roblox themselves making rewards for subscriptions creates issues for developers who don't want to or can't support those "rewards". I personally hate the topbar menu system thing, right. And, I don't use the PlayerList feature in my current project. I believe that "rewards" should be up to the developer, not Roblox here. I have a custom character in my game. I don't want players having particles infinitely after buying a subscription or whatever, right. So, if Roblox made that happen, and I didn't want it to, I'd either have no choice or I'd need to disable it somehow. It all depends on how Roblox supports it/doesn't. Anyways, I didn't know about the feature where people could keep rewards even after the subscription time is up. I love that; it makes it more ethical. If you pay for something, you should keep it imo. Before I wasn't going to use subscriptions, but now that I know that option exists, I'll think about it more.

I don’t think Roblox providing a focus would be a good. Different games on Roblox can vary greatly, so what would be a worthy feature in one game might be complete irrelevant in another. The difference between a game’s subscription and a Roblox subscription is that if you aren’t featured by Roblox, where else are you going to be featured? And regardless, the devs can add the colors themselves if it’s important to them.

games take months to years to create. it seems like having micro transactions is the only way developers can be fairly compensated for the hundreds to thousands of hours put into developing that game.
