Every time I see a step I have to do I pause the video go in ROBLOX do the same thing you did, go in CapCut and start editing I showed this to my cousin my 2 brothers and now I will show it to my mother and father, thanks a LOT I can’t believe I can finally make a nice edit with these steps. First tap on your main clip, then scroll to the first lot of yellow markings that are shown on the audio ( 2:18 ). There is a "split" option at the bottom of the screen :)

Hi! There’s a plus button on the right side of your screen on the timeline. It should let you choose your shy recording and it shouldn’t turn into an overlay. Hopefully this helps!
