as someone who has put a year worth of experience into Alternate battlegrounds, the way some people use certain characters is downright scary. you will either get air blaster'd by a sans or get half your dodge bar taken away by gaster, or you just never land a hit at all cause some people have mastered the art of perfect blocking to such a degree its actually scary. (or you just have 5 high skilled players come at you for the funnies)

People just play so defensive to the point if you're not getting perfected blocked. You're failing to hit them, or they are hitting you. The blocking system feels like spaming the block and dash button is meta.

I'm honestly glad to see alternate battlegrounds having a spot. Letting more people know about the unique passion project it is.

Honestly, I feel clover battlegrounds has stiff gameplay (dashes and attacks and stuff) and combos feel really weird but the fact they add characters is refreshing and doesn't let me get bored.

fun fact: when rouge demon came out (before TSB) it was basically a testing phase to before it became a rouge lineage demon slayer game but the player base prefered the current game more so they kept it that way.

I’m glad you mentioned Project Smash, I stumbled upon it randomly a couple of days ago and I’ve been having loads of fun with it. It would be a shame to see this game not getting the love it deserves.

i completely agree with how many garous are in tsb. most of the time when i complain about it in game they say that its the least used character and underrated when its literally the opposite. the combos are very good to land but if you make a little mistake it is highly punishable

Glad you mentions Alternate Battlegrounds, it's a really amazing game thats ive been playing for awhile, and as a fellow undertale fan it makes me happy

Thank you for commenting on soul shatters, I love that game and you can even see it on my channel because I used to be a soulshatters grinder that played 24/7, I now play TSB but go back to soulshatters, alternate battlegrounds, and the other soulshatters remakes now and then for nostalgia.

The Rng Part of fruit battlegrounds is what drives roblox games in general though i do think that lower tier fruits need to be made more viable and yeah the leveling system is buns but the only other real fix to that would be them adding more bosses i can't really think of much else besides bandit beating

Happy to see your take on it I just think the game is fundamentally cooked once they started lowering the rates and making it increasingly more difficult to enjoy the main part of the game which is the fighting.

I mean i personally don't find the hp much of an issue as some fruits are made to have more damage than others but have certain limitations (Like nika which does good damage in base but its only way to get to the opponent besides damage is neo red hawk which is blockable and its mode has even better damage but its only reliable guard break is kaminari and the other moves can be punished). Maybe your just underleveled. Tho there is a balancing issue (Mainly dragon v2 imo) and the rng would suck for people who don't play the game much (i gotten every mythical cuz i redeemed a bunch of codes gotten a lot of fruits to level 100 and maxed a couple fruits).@@Soul.Resonant

project smash is my favourite battlegrounds game by far. the characters are balanced, its smooth, a good combat system, and overall just really amazing.

I also really like how they made the C class feel more powerful than the D class without making it too unbalanced, or maybe it's just the placebo effect because they C class is expensive.

Honestly, the best battlegrounds games are TSB, Ki Battlegrounds/ Z Battlegrounds, and Sorcerer Battlegrounds. That's about it.

As someone who actively plays fruit battlegrounds, yeah, the wacky rng nonsense is a problem but i also think thats what makes this game addicting, most of the time the newest fruit is indeed op, dragon v2 being a perfect example, but you can still pull up a fight if you have equal levels, as for the afk part, yeah, it sucks, although you can also fight bosses to level up quicker some people rather grind afk because its the easiest way. Anyways, the game's still on alpha so the grind may or not change Also gud vid :)

One thing I find cool about games like TSB is how skill isn't linear. I'm a duels player, so I have trouble fighting against teamers, but in a one on one, I absolutely SWEEP anyone I fight. However, someone that I could easily defeat on their own could probably defeat three other people with ease if they were an FFA player- even if I'd struggle and fail in that situation. It's interesting to see different types of skill and different styles of playing develop.

Certainly true. Also I love that you get better at fighting by getting better at fighting! No skills leveling, no grinding needed, you can have a unique combat style(I personally like to block the enemy's moves, punishing mistakes, baiting out moves and spamming my own). The fact that it isn't p2w at all AND getting good and frequent updates makes it a solid game in my opinion.

Saitama Battlegrounds does feel like a completely different game once you become more advanced, it's hard to explain, but it's a lot more fun after you learn the combat properly and start pushing 100 rank. 3:33 I feel like this video was an excuse to let out his anger on random children though 💀

Alternate battlegrounds and test place reborn are some of my favourites as they ain’t generic and the blaster bones moveset style is completely unique

just don't play fruit battlegrounds if ur not getting a mythical fruit also the fruit drops for mythics used to be 5% so the game is basically terrible now

glazing tsb like it's not a stiff mess with horrible hitboxes, hit detection and atrocious visual cues

Out of all the anime games and battle arena games I have played, ABA has been the best for me out of all of them by a long shot. Sure, recent ABA has been pretty disgusting but back in the day, it was one of the most fun games on roblox for me, not to mention it has the most cohesive combat system out of everything.

Ngl i tried to enjoy ABA but its just fucking ridiculous if you have like 100 ping comboing can be a pain in the fucking ass I dont even know why would they make hold space mid air will make you do normal M1s So basically if i miss time the perfect frame window just because im slightly off the ground ill drop the combo cuz i cant live in America Example: i use savage strike on vegito ill be slightly off the ground itll drop the combo if i hold space for too long and if i dont hold it long enough itll do a downtilt which will drop the combo

@@_-MG-_ I play on 100 ping average and I do really well, and the m1’s just take some getting used to and having a good understanding of them. I’m nearly max lvl on the game (only thing I’m missing is Y rank) and aba works just fine for me.

SOULSHATTERS MENTION?!?! I loved that game and would main GTchara so much man. I have yet to find a game similar to it honestly. The combat in it was just unmatched and felt like you was in the fight, and was the character itself.

I can’t play a battlegrounds game for more than an hour most unless I’m w a friend chilling out or goofing off, I cant even be in project smash for five minutes before wanting to stop playing

True in a lot of battlegrounds games if u just walk up to someone they will attack you

You really should try RIU again once the big update there working on comes out because the game is very underrated and I feel like it deserves more credit. There reworking some of the PvP, adding a new map, and a stand that has never been seen in any other jojo game that I have seen, and apparently they also have made the leveling easier so you really should try it again and if you still don’t like it atleast try giving a better explanation on why the game wasn’t good and i can try to tell the devs cause there pretty active with the community

Utpr? More polished version of Soul shatters, even got customized characters such as Minos Prime in modes. Just check it out

fruit battlegrounds is mad fun tho and it’s easy af to get mythics but it def does need work. i enjoy it tho

I love alternate battlegrounds but most people just combo you so much you cant move so its pretty hard to learn

I love metal bat the passive of metal bat LITTERLY makes your ulti bar fill up when being damage

I rarely hear anyone talk about Soul Shatters, that game is probably the best pvp game I've played, Bunny had the recipe for a great game but didn't continue it. It sucks to see it go but I'm glad Cheese made a better version of it and honestly it feels like Soul Shatters, its good enough.

Me and my friend play AB and i can say its very fun, i like it mostly because most of the characters have 2 or more movesets and that makes more possilitys for combos, and i like the fact that im not gonna see the same combo all the time

In tsb I find it out when you see people hanging out in a group throwing trash cans at them makes them extremely mad

Another great game is crossover arena, it’s got like everything, they added furina a few days ago it’s pretty cool

Hearing souls shatters was like a flash bang. I used to play that game alot

Rogue demon was a menace before the update that remade the map. After that update, half of the playerbase start to play Strongest Battlegrounds ( including me, with 2,6k kills )

highly recommend curse battlegrounds (not to be confused with cursed arena.) its combat is very similar to tsb and it has cool mechanics n waht not. the combat is sorta hard to master but its fun

6:05 fr at the same time its unbalanced its also balanced,like if you have the best fruit in the game and have more levels than the guy with bomb fruit,even if u are buns and he is a pro,you cook him,but if you are buns with your best fruit in the game you can lose to fruits who are worst than yours,you probably just entered the game and didn't even gived a deeper search to it and just died to a random bounty hunter from wano,i know your pain,and also there are like combos and stuff and i fr think that if you just spam aoe moves you are just cooked,great video.

BG game devs explaining why project smash adds 2 characters weekly ( they are very good and TSB takes almost half a year for fancy animation )

Genuienly speaking fruit battlegrounds would have like 40k+ players because its one of the only battle grounds that have boss like kaido, if it wasent for the level system it would have been rlly fun

Sorcerer battle grounds is literally just a hang out game at this point, join 0/10 servers will just be people standing still in groups emoting and when you walk over to them and start hitting one of them the entire server will target you. Ultimates also feel pretty underwhelming and lame but the game has good potential

the description of the strongest battlegrounds is just soul shatters all over again

I has play old game made by strongest battlegrounds’ developer, and the game called “fightin gaem” it’s fun! But you need to grind kills or jail someone for classes, but still funny tho, 6:59 the most lovely game I ever seen is this, man use Faceless’s lethality on freshies is satisfied and happy(yes I am a Gaia Dweller)

I agree with him on the fact that project: smash has the potential to beat tsb. The effects are well made, animations clean, and the fight system isn't rigged. I've played for 2 hrs and the trampoline is fun.

I used to play rogue and shatters but now it’s just not the same anymore…

The strongest Battlegrounds for me has the polish that almost none of the other bg games have but some of them have more variety or better animation but I can't stick with them because they lack the polish that tsb has

nah the real vergil character is atomic samurai in tsb because he has judgment cut as a finisher and most of his moves in the game you can do with vergil in dmc 5 which is why i love using him
