Entire album is outstanding. Robin Zander is the vocalist of my generation.
Maria McKee (Lone Justice) turns 56 years old today. I rarely go for singles from soundtracks as they are usually overblown, overproduced, and don't hold up outside of the original dramatic context. But McKee's contribution to "Days of Thunder" really worked for me even though I never saw the film. I guess a few others felt the same as it wound up being her biggest hit. That's her on this duet version from Robin Zander's first outing without Cheap Trick.

This whole album is so special,,, every track is a collection of so many great songs,,, love it.

So I was reading a little bit on Maria McKee and learned that she did this song with Robin Zander. I'm a huge Maria McKee fan and if you want to listen to something amazing try her third solo album, life is sweet. Maria McKee wrote this song and is doing the background vocals.
