I still haven't heard a show that addresses her laugh. It really is insane she will laugh so narcissistically that she keeps laughing for like 30 seconds. I feel bad for her because she's suffered so much abuse as a child and she's awesome but that laugh is the most annoying thing ever

The Psychology Classes at our best Universities should study Robin's behavior. The way she uses a "laugh" is so bizarre - I've never seen a human fake laugh more than her. She uses fake cackling for so many reasons, it's astonishing. To avoid confeontation....to hide from being honest... To suck up to Howard.... and she'll do it when she's been caught, just to fill space.... So weird.

It's clear that Robin knows she's completely wrong but yet she can't back down and admit it. This proves how despicable a person Robin really was. The male race really dodged the bullet by not having any one of its members marry such a horrible person.

Robin had so many insane moments where she displayed her ego and self centered attitude. She was an absolute nut back then. And the callers as well as Gary who brought up the fact that she's never in a stable long term relationship so she can't understand giving gifts as a couple is so on point.

Howard once brought in a wood chipper and would berate his staff’s gifts to him and throw them in the wood chipper. Howard cares about two things. Himself and his salary/ratings. The wake of disgruntled, poor, and betrayed staffers and interns this show leaves in it’s wake is staggering.

So do we agree that by the '90s, Robin had been with Howard long enough to be somewhat over her lust/love/fascination for him, had moved on to resentment that he never left Allison for her, and her neurosis/psychosis caused her to become a decade-long bitch because she felt the need to sabotage their relationship to compensate for the pain she felt he caused her by never divorcing Allison and marrying her....? Even though she's slightly older than Howard, she had daddy issues with him, as he was the leader of the pack in that studio. She hated Jackie because he was the oldest guy there but he was a weak underling. Fred was too young for her. Gary was too mild a personality for her. Howard could have tied her up and whipped her and she would have welcomed it. He never shit where he ate, and she spent the '90s hating him for it.

Howard wasn't the gift ... *providing an experience* Robin ostensibly loved was. If it were Scott The Engineer giving her a bowling ball, I could understand the confusion/frustration. Have you only given a gift requiring your literal presence in order for the recipient to enjoy it? (Also, it wasn't simply with Allison and some random "friends." It was a rare outing with the kids.)

I kinda agree with you. Lol I mean if this gift was from Howard AND the wifey, then fine. But it wasn't really presented like that. HEEEE, Howard, gave her theater tickets, thinking she's going with the person giving her the gift, only to find out that said person is putting other people onto her, & he's not involved. If he gave her theater tickets, & LET HER pick whom she wanted to take, then that's fine. But they gave her 1 ticket. Not "TICKETSSSSS"...And if Howard isn't going, & it was Alison whom Robin spoke to about this gift, then it would seem like it's a gift FROM Alison! Not a gift from Howard. Stern show mastered the reality TV format... Take an every day event, insert a narrative and milk it for 30 mins to fill time. Robin is annoying but played her part in the show well. Anyone that cant see this was a bit doesnt get the show.. Robin set up the premise and Howard ran with it... And they probably filled an hour of the show on a day with no guests..
