@@jimmwimm he sang live 101%.. the voice cracks and adlibs were not the same as in the studio version.. the movements of his lips with every lyric show that this was live singing.

I loved his dad and then I heard this guy singing this song and when i was told he sings. First time I seen him on tv I was wow he does look like his dad. He is a fantastic singer. I am 67 and i love hismusic.

Unfortunately something happened to him and he couldn't handle his own personal issues without "chemical assistance" and he destroyed his career. But, I agree that he has the talent and if he were surrounded with good people he could have a long and successful career.
